Cascina Cortine

Stayed here twice and am absolutely in love with it! Centrally located for all the wine region - Alba, Barolo, Barbaresco and other hilltop towns are just around 10-15 minutes away. Gorgeous property, extremely comfortable, beautiful rooms with vineyard views. Breakfast is superb. Proprietors cater to your every whim. They make dinner reservations for you, give detailed advice about things to do in the area. They know EVERYONE! Very well-connected to everything in Piedmont. And they speak excellent English! Don't stay anywhere else - this is IT!

I wish I could give 10 starts instead of 5… My husband and I stayed at Daniela’s and Bruno’s beautiful place (Cascina Cortine) for two days, as we traveled through Piedmont. From the first moment, Daniela and Bruno treated us as guests of honor. They invited us to attend an amazing classical music festival at Guarene old town the first night and took care of our dinner reservation at the local restaurant with Michelin quality meal. The next day, Daniela prepared an amazing breakfast in the gorgeous courtyard of their property (which is the 17th century farmhouse completely renovated but still maintaining the original character and charm). Then, our amazing hostess organized our whole day, making sure that we experience the authentic Italian culture and hospitality. Daniela arranged our tour of the nearby Guarene castle and a private tour of the local Cascina Chicco winery (mind blowing, with its underground cellars and amazing wine). Then she finished with a “surprise” dinner reservation at another local restaurant, where you come and experience something impossible to describe - chef selected four course meal with local wine ending up on your table in magnum bottles until you find the one you like (and you don’t pay for the magnum bottles, just for the experience). Daniela and Bruno’s property is absolutely stunning - so much authenticity and culture in the completely rebuilt house with stunning views. We are definitely coming back!!!!

If you are in the Piedmont region and look for an authentic, warm, and relaxing accommodation (off the beaten paths) - don't look further! At Cascina Cortine (located in the middle of vineyards), Daniela and Bruno will be your two lovely hosts who are doing everything they can to make your stay memorable. After a welcome drink you will have enough time to move into your room which has all amenities you will need. Breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace and will surprise you with many local delicacies. We stayed there during a wedding weekend (at the nearby Relais & Chateaux Castello di Guarene) and Daniela and Bruno were really outstanding hosts: they provided us with excellent recommendations (wineries, restaurants, local attractions), took even care of some restaurant reservations and were always available for a fun conversation. All in all a superb and memorable experience!

A real ‘trouvaille’ and you’re guaranteed to have an exceptional stay here. The extraordinarily friendly and hospitable owners Daniela and Bruno do everything to make your stay as good as possible and to make you really feel at home with them. And hence the 5 stares since higher is not possible. They arrange the best local restaurants, can tell you where to go, know this beautiful region (Piedmont) like no other. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities as if it were a 4 or 5 star hotel. The breakfast is fantastic and to top it off, Daniela and Bruno also have their own excellent wine (Roero Arnesi). Alba, Asti and a little further away Bra and Barolo and such are easily accessible from here.

Questo luogo è veramente magico. Immerso nello splendido verde e nel silenzio più totale.
La cascina è stata ristrutturata con gusto e rispetto per la struttura originale.
La nostra camera era confortevole in tutto e per tutto, con una vasca idromassaggio e un terrazzino con vista mozzafiato. La parte esterna è molto curata, con una veranda attrezzata per i mesi più caldi.
La colazione adorabile, con prodotti freschi e la gentilissima proprietaria pronta a soddisfare ogni esigenza dei suoi ospiti.
Se proprio dovessi fare una piccola critica, che è più un suggerimento, aggiungerei un frigo bar o dell’acqua nella stanza da letto.
È stata una bellissima esperienza e un grande peccato essersi fermati una sola notte! Grazie a Daniela e Bruno, i gentilissimi proprietari!

Abbiamo soggiornato in un'atmosfera rilassante, accogliente con un panorama indimenticabile.
I coniugi Manno sono dei padroni di casa insuperabili. La Signora Daniela Manno, ha un'attenzione particolare ad esaudire ogni desiderio e necessità che l'ospite possa avere. Le camere sono arredate con molto gusto. Niente è lasciato al caso! Ci torneremo!

Fantastica accoglienza, splendida vista e camere bellissime non potevamo chiedere di meglio! Daniela è una delle persone più gentili che davvero non vi farà mancare nulla - ci tornerei immediatamente e lo raccomanderei a tutti. Grazie ancora un abbraccio dalla Thailandia e Chile

Panorama da sogno, accoglienza da 5 Stelle, purtroppo non si possono dare più stelle! Il valore aggiunto della location, oltre ad essere in posizione strategica per visitare le langhe e la zona del Roero è l'attenzione maniacale all'Ospite. Esperienza sicuramente da ripetere!

Eccellente in ogni dettaglio. Consigliatissimo per ospiti abituati al bello ed esigenti. Consiglio di seguire i suggerimenti di Bruno e Daniela e di vivere questo angolo di paradiso per più tempo possibile. Ideale per chi cerca quiete e calore
