Badia - Bistrot

Badia is a perfectly quaint restaurant filled with heart and culture in the excellently delivered plates of local Sicilian cuisine. They were so welcoming and a breath of fresh air from touristic foods on the shoreline. Complimenti!

Such a cute place with the most tasteful food! We had dinner after the walk in Cefalù old town at this small family owned restaurant. Very professional, the menu has only certain daily choices, the freshest dishes! This was our choice of food, we enjoyed every bite!

We just had lunch here and the food, wine and service was fantastic. The food was so tasty and the waiter couldn't do more to help us pick the wine and keep us happy. Would definitely go back if we are in Cefalu.

We’ve been searching whole Cefalu for the best spots to have dinner. Since we’ve been to Badia everything else was disappointing, including a Michelin restaurant. Decided to go back for the final diner of our holidays and it was as good as the first time while we hade different dishes and wine. Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Amazing food, great wines, friendly staff, lovely spot with view on the Cathedral. Tip: try the melanzane.

We were overwhelmed by the choice of restaurants in Cefalú, but came across Badia and couldn’t resist the simple and reasonably priced yet mouth-watering menu. There were just a few tables outside and we sat in the warm evening breeze with a lovely view of the Cathedral. The food was perfection. As a coeliac, I was delighted that most options were gluten free (or could be altered to be). I went for the signature aubergine starter and a tuna steak pistachio main. It was clear that the chef is passionate about flavour and finesse. Beautifully presented and glorious flavours. A lovely and efficient waitress and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for our last night in Sicily, 10/10.

Incredible little place. Only outdoor seating, but that was perfect for us - lovely warm evening, with a view of the cathedral at the end of the alley. Food was exquisite - really interesting flavour combinations that I hadn’t seen before - we always trust a place with just a few good dishes to choose from. Brilliant and friendly service too. Fantastic experience all round.

Very nice place near the Cathedral. The vibe was very nice and calm. The fish of the day was amazing and the Tagliata di Manson was nice. I would say the tiramisu is small but fine. Remember its still a dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was very nice and they had time to explain the menu.

Genuinely the best dinner I have had in years, and I’ve had them everywhere. One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Service was phenomenal, and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Awesome dinner place for the perfect Mediterranean cuisine experience! The menu has a variety of dishes with aubergine, octopus and other seafood. The food was delicious and the portions were quite big! Also served very fast! The waiters were extremely kind and friendly, could speak good English and describe the dishes behind the names in the menu. I’ve tried Caponata do Mare, and it was so delicious, definitely recommend! 😋 The restaurant has a very cozy terrace outside and a cherry of the top is central location next to Duomo do Cefalu.

Delicious food with a great view of the Cathedral. Staff was very attentive and friendly, definitely recommended. Price totally fair for what you get. One of the best restaurants in a week of Sicilia.

right next to the cathedral is this little restaurant. we ended up there by chance and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the manager and waiters and the quality of the food, highly recommended!

Excellent family-run restaurant with typical Sicilian partially modern interpreted cuisine, great private and by direct view of the cathedral yet central atmosphere, attentive and courteous service with excellent recommendations and great local wine; outstanding food - definitely a must when visiting Cefalú

Delicious Fussiloni con Ragú Bianco and good wine. Very friendly waitress that also speaks very good English!
