Sand Design Restaurant

An amazingly tasty restaurant in an equally amazing place. This restaurant is a must for those who love fish. The staff are very friendly and speak English (a plus for those who do not speak Italian).

The menu is full of food related to fish. The menu consists of antipasti, starters, main courses and deserts, together with specialities of the day that of course are not listed on the menu.

Looking over the beach one can find a mezzanine which is very airy.

A small side note: the restaurant opens at 12.30.

One of the most beautiful restaurant in Punta Secca. Dishes are superb for colors, flavors and originality. Danilo and Santino are top for friendliness and professionalism.

Great place to just hang out for coffee ( best in Sicily) and the most delicious crostatini ( made by the owner's mum) or have an evening meal. We accepted Danilo's ( one of the owners) recommendations and we were treated to most excellent food and wine. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful dinner here, our host explained the dishes available, made great suggestions, I had octopus to start which had been cooked very slowly for around 18 hours, It was so tender and delicious, followed by sardine fillets in bread crumbs. Bellissimo. Ottim. And of course some delicious local wine to accompany the food.

Absolutely delicious food and exceptional service. When we ordered too much, not knowing the portion sizes, they advised us to get less, reducing the bill by about €30 - this is a first for us and we've eaten out at a lot of places! True integrity. We were made to feel so welcome by the owners. And every single course of the 4-course meal was nothing less than spectacular. Bravo and grazie mille, Danilo and Santino, we'll be back 👏👏

Excellent food!

Lovely meal here next to the sea, fried fish platters for me and my partner. Great selection of fish - very tasty indeed. Lovely staff - great attentive service.

*update* Enjoyed it so much - we visited again for dinner on two more nights. The highlights were the swordfish and the tuna steak in sesame seeds. It is such a great location - very quiet, right on the sea front and the staff are so helpful. Don’t miss this one.

Quando andiamo a Punta secca torniamo sempre con immenso piacere.
Il luogo è magnifico, tranquillo e curato, di fronte ad un incantevole mare.
Il cameriere è molto preparato, professionale, cordiale e divertente coi bambini.
I piatti sono presentati con cura ed eleganza e sono tutti deliziosi.
Lo consiglio vivamente..anche per aperitivo !

Das Essen war mega lecker und frisch, die Bedienung sprach englisch und hat uns gut beraten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Schoko-Ricotta- Kuchen! Das Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis stimmt. Draußen sitzt man super schön am Wasser und kann den Sonnenuntergang bewundern.

Abbiamo prenotato in questa Domenica di fine Agosto. Tavolo vista mare, posizionato lungo il litorale. Servizio impeccabile, il ragazzo che ci ha servito durante la cena, Danilo, è stato amorevole, divertente e professionale nell’elencare tutti i piatti fuori menù che alla fine abbiamo deciso di scegliere. Insieme alla mia ragazza, abbiamo presso due antipasti diversi ed un primo. Gli antipasti ed il primo, come vedrete in foto, sono degni di una cucina Gourmet e lasciano dei sapori che vi sorprenderanno se avrete il piacere di assaggiarli. Super consigliato!!!

Pyszny tuńczyk wedle życzenia, bruschetta spoza karty. Dobre wino. Sympatyczna obsługa. A okoliczności przyrody mówią same za siebie.
