Levanzo

I had a wonderful time on this cute island! It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Palermo and a great place to relax. The island is very peaceful and quiet, with very few cars allowed. The nature is stunning, with green hills, rocky cliffs, and colorful flowers. We hiked the whole island and enjoyed the breathtaking views and the fresh air. There are many remote spots where you can go into the crystal clear water and swim or snorkel. The water is so clean and blue, and you can see many fish and corals. It was like being in paradise!

1 of the 3 Aegadian Islands. The smallest of the 3. A magical destination, with amazing beaches for every taste. Not that crowded as Favignana, which is good in my opinion. If you have time you can explore the whole island. There are some amazing beaches. You can explore it with boat, if you can afford it. There are options to stay on the island as well.

Pristine. Beautiful coastline with rocky beaches. Visited off season most of the cafes were closed except the one near the centre.

We went to Levanzo from Trapani port on a boat trip. The island is tiny and very pretty, coastline is beautiful, ice cream is not to miss. There are boats from Trapani to Levanzo every hour or so. Definitely a place to visit!!!!

Amazing place! Love the wild nature there

A pretty island but not much to do
We visited Levanzo hoping to visit the caves and see the Palaeolithic Wall paintings but after arriving at 10:45 we discovered there is only one trip per day to the Grotto di Genoese at 10:15am so we didn’t get to do it sadly. There isn’t much else to do in Levanzo. There are some lovely walks along pretty coastline but take decent walking shoes as it is rough in places. We found a couple of small but pretty beaches with crystal blue waters which were glorious but very rocky and stony so we were envious of the seasoned visitors who brought thick foam yoga mats instead of towels (genius!!) and plastic shoes to wear in the water as it is extremely painful to walk on the beach and in the sea without them. There are a couple of restaurants and small shops where you disembark the ferry but nothing anywhere else on the island so buy your drink there before trekking off around the island. Visit the island for walks, snorkelling and the caves (but get there in time and book in advance) but don’t go expecting there to be lots else to do.

Paradise

Levando va vissuta pernottando in paese. È l'unico modo per assaporare al completo la sua unicità. Il ritmo lento. Lo scandire delle ore dato dall'arrivo del traghetto e degli aliscafi. Poesia

Mała, urocza wysepka. idealna dla tych, którzy poszukują miejsc, gdzie nie ma tłumów. Jest tutaj miasteczko i zatoka, które pięknie wyglądają od strony morza. Wydaje się, jakby czas się tutaj zatrzymał. Jeśli miniemy miasteczko - ścieżka prowadzi w kierunku kameralnej plaży Cala Faraglioni. Spotkaliśmy tam tylko kilka osób. Statki z wycieczkami tam nie wpływają. Dalej jest też ścieżka widokowa, którą można wspiąć się na na punkt widokowy na skałach, które obok plaży.

Sembra la Grecia (anche come look delle case) ma è un angolo di tranquillità, natura e relax a 25 minuti di traghetto da Trapani. Poche calette ma stupende, soprattutto per chi ama la vita subacquea. Natura incontaminata e zero inquinamento, per la gioia di pesci di ogni tipo, stelle marine e ricci. Paese minuscolo, con un minimarket, un ottimo panificio, due negozi di souvenir, una chiesetta, un ufficio postale, una guardia medica e due ristoranti, ma non si sente la mancanza di altro. Inutile venire in auto: si va a piedi. Posto molto sicuro, adatto anche a bambini.

Giro di perlustrazione nel mentre ci dirigevamo a Favignana e si capisce da subito che qui regna la pace dei sensi in tutto e per tutto. Il mare e la natura la fanno da padrone. Poche casette e qualche attività niente di più. Ottimo per una giornata in barca mare cristallino.

Vraiment c'est le coup de foudre ! C'est une des plus belles îles Egades qui a su garder son authenticité ! Le petit village est vraiment charmant. On peut la parcourir en bateau à droite à partir du petit port de plaisance ! Et découvrir par des sentiers l'intérieur de la nature ! Un retour au source !
