Filari Della Rocca

Exceptional hospitality, wine and cuisine from the family owned vineyard at Filari Della Rocca! We were greeted first with a vineyard, farm and bottling tour from Cino (3rd gen wine maker) and hosted for lunch and wine tasting by the rest of the family afterward. The wines are indicative of the area, focusing on native grape varietals, using exclusively organic winemaking practices. The meal was fantastic and paired exceptionally well with the wine tasting (big fan of their Catarratto); featured on the spread were organic olives, olive oil and honey also made on the farm. Highly recommend scheduling a tour if you are in the area and be sure to find their wines in boutiques.

Last year we were thrilled and honored to be the first importer to bring Filari della Rocca wines into the United States! In the meantime, we have gotten to know Ciro and the Benanti family better. They are some of the hardest working and kindest people in the business! Not to mention their amazing wines! Filari della Rocca is quickly gaining recognition in Colorado. Their Merlot, Cataratto, Nero d'Avola and Rosato wines are being served in the finest restaurants and sold in the best wine shops in the state. Guests from all over the US are falling in love with these gorgeous Sicilians when vacationing here in the Rocky Mountains. We are so grateful for the partnership with the Benanti family and look forward to visiting them this spring in Contessa Entellina, Sicily.
