Beautiful location. You can not sit closer to the water. Watching the sun go down with a beautiful view on the Bolsena lake is magical. Add the nice food, the democratic pricing and friendly multilingual waiters and you know this is a hit. Their pasta with clams is very recommended.

Great location by the lake with amazing and relaxing views whilst you eat.
We had Pasta Ragu and Pasta Amatriciana, both were delicious, highlight was the slow cooked pork, it fell off the bone and the roast potatoes it was served with were great too.

Such a beautiful location, wonderful food (especially the sweet water fish) and great wine list. The service was efficient and friendly. Get there early or book in advance for a window view for sunset. Highly recommended!

We first came here in 2008 and recently visited again. The view from the balcony over the lake is simply stunning, and there is no better place to watch the sun go down. Staff were also very kind and courteous.

This probably was the best fish I ever had! Cooked to perfection. Plus the lovely sunset over the lake. Nothing could beat that!

We visited Bolsena for a weekend in January on our way to Rome. If you want to sample authentic local cuisine this is a must visit. Huge variety and delicious selections on the menu made it difficult to decide but our Italian hosts who took us there knew exactly what to have and it was amazing. Unfortunately one of our orders didnt turn up but we were a table of 10 and the restaurant was very, very busy. The food, wine and amazing location made up for it though.

The views are amazing, and in terms of food, the eel.

Sweetwater fish are always quite an experience. At this trattoria, combinations were quite good. Location is a beautiful one. And service was very fast, very nice: top notch!

This restaurant continues to improve. A few years ago it was a bit of a greasy spoon but of ingredients and cooking have both got much better. Recommended. Having not been here for nearly two years, they observed covid regulations without fuss. The food continues to improve and the service is excellent.

We went there for a lake-side sunset dinner and were not disappointed. We enjoyed a great view and nice food. The steak and fish were great and the wine recommended by the waiter was excellent. We will come again some time!

Love this place. You eat on the lake, the wine list is extensive and well priced. Food wise the fish puzzle is a great starter with a selection of both lake and sea fish prepared in a variety of ways. The mussels are the best I've ever eaten, the waiter refused to give me the recipe!

Amazing view and was a little sceptical with the food at first given the location. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fish, the tasty pasta and the superb service. The etc etc white wine is just ideal to help with the food. Go there in the evening for a meal with sunset

Best place for lake fish

Beautiful place. Call ahead to reserve a spot on their terrace over the water. It’s like being on a cruise without the motion sickness ! Excellent food as well.

lovely place to sit & have a coffee by the lake, or something to eat , great staff really friendly and helpful, don't worry if you can't speak Italian that's not a problem
