Hello Darwin

Very good service - the menu was explained to us, everything came quickly, we even got Bruschetta on the house as a starter, which was very nice and delicious!
We had different seafood pasta as primi piatti and shared the seafood griglia mista and the side salad as a main.
The pasta was a big portion, cooked perfectly and very delicious. It came with bread to soak up the sauce as well.
The seafood was nicely grilled, tasted fresh and was also really delicious, the side salad was also good and fresh. We were very full and happy!

Fantástico! This place is great for casual dinner with families and friends. We had a great experience at Hello Darwin. Food was authentic Sicilian home cooked meal. Everything was right on with flavors and presentation. Would def go back.

The food was incredible, staff were really nice and the atmosphere was very good.
I totally recommend this restaurant.
If you’re passing by stop here for lunch dinner or even a light drink.

Large portions with set menu of 3 corse meal if you like 😊

We were driving through and looking for a restaurant en route for lunch. After reading the google reviews, we decided to give Hello Darwin a go! It was the best decision ever! We had a wonderful meal. Starting with complimentary bruschetta, followed by superb spaghetti with seafood, then grilled fish and calamari, and fried prawns. The seafood was soooo fresh and cooked perfectly. The owner speaks very little English, and we don't speak Italian, but we managed to communicate just fine. The seafood is on display in a refrigerated cabinet, and you choose what you want and how you want it cooked. We were told there's also a daily menu for seafood and another for meat. Possibly the best meal we had in sicily!

Small family place with authentic & delicious local seafood. We let the chef prepare whatever he thought we’d like asking for seafood. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had. We got 2 ridiculous antipasti plates with 5 or so different delicious local seafood preparations. Vongnolini on spaghetti made with tiny local clams out of the bay. Grilled fish—whole small snapper & swordfish fillet. Solid tiramisu.

Seriously, this is what I was hoping for in planning our trip to Sicily.

The food was really delicious! We had two huge delicious menues - one with meat and one with fish. All of it was simply amazing and very good quality. We were completely stunned with the amount of good received for an amazing price! The pasta was sooo good and the dessert was a real highlight, top! We would love to go there again one day, one of the best food experiences we had in Sicily!

We literally asked to stop bringing us more food. Paid 15 EUR per person for daily menu - ordered 2 such, but shared it with our two kids as well. We could not finish the meat, so as the pasta dishes and we left before desert came. Surely amazing service and value for that price. Recommend!

If you want a budget meal yet authentic please do visit this place. Don’t go for the view but for the food. Imagine plastic chair and tables within a rustic place, but the worth and care of both owners! The pizza is extremely good as well and very original. They even offered us limoncello! They also have 1l house wine which is quite rare to find. Absolutely recommend. Elena and Maciej

Hello Darwin is a local treasure. We ordered a fish meal and a beef meal. Just the antipasti alone could be a meal! Everything was wonderfully presented and delicious. Best of all was the owner/chef/waiter! He was friendly and funny. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back before long.

The best restaurant in Catania so far. Delicious traditional meals. Cheerful service. Nothing more, nothing less :)
