I made a last minute booking as part of my ski rep job taking care of a school of 44 children and 6 teachers. The restaurant were very accomodating to our requirement and the prices were very reasonable.

I even got to take children in groups of 4 to watch the traditional pizzas being made in the open pizza kitchen. The oven was a fascinating piece of engineering and pizzas as good as the best.

My family and I came to El Tavel for lunch after a morning of skiing and were very satisfied with the restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was very tasty. I ordered the Piatto Trentino (or something like that) and it was delicious! My wife enjoyed the Tris di Canederli, while my two kids loved the wurstel and fries. If/when I return to Andalo I will be sure to come back to El Tavel!
