Don Peppinu I Marzamemi

We ate two different types of ice cream, the pistachio ice cream and lemon. They were both incredible and delicious, one of the best and definitely authentic. Be careful during peak hours such as the afternoon and tour groups since the place only has around 4 tables.

Unique ice cream. it's the second time I've eaten there and the service is great, and for the ice cream - words are not enough to describe the explosion of flavors they offer. I had tiramisu and chocolate from Modica in the more special had a funnel - everything was more than perfect!

Best gelato I have ever had in my life I guess. Ricotta and pistachio were my favourites. It was crazy some days I had 6 scoops a day, 3 during the day and another 3 after dinner. Gained about 4 kilos in this 7 day trip and it was absolutely worth it

Some say what is special about ice-cream 🍦 Each supermarket sells it. Well, that is indeed a fact, but having the chance of eating an ice-cream based on good natural products is not that common. Don Peppinu in Marzamemi is such a place. They won several prices and got rewarded for some of their creations.
The only difficulty is to make a choice among all the different flavours. I felt like a child and I wanted all. Obviously not possible... So I have returned several times in order to test a maximum of different flavours, 4 at a time.... And man, they were all awesome!!! 😋😋😋
I have however my favourites, that I like to share with you, signor Calacauso, Settemezzo, oro verde grezzo and Camilleri.
This gelateria deserve a full recommendation and queuing in the evening is normal... Do it and make yourself a pleasure.

Real italian ice cream served with passion from the staff. Amazing flavours and very affordable. If you leave in London, an ice cream like the one shown in the picture would cost you roughly £7/8. Here is only €3. We ate it more than one a day, that’s how good it was.

Very good gelateria. Loved the taste. Spacious place to sit. My favourite taste is the Nocciola as well as the Settemmezzo. Really loved these. You can ask the girls behind the counter to give you a spoon to taste before you decide. One of the best gelateria around these parts. Prices are on the higher end.

Fantastic ice cream. Didn’t expect to find such great gelato in a tourist area like Marzamemi. It was so good, had to go for seconds, everything with pistachio was amazing.

Delicious ice cream - genuine Sicilian gelato, in more than 30 variations!

It's a chain (apparently there's one even in Hollywood) but trust the reviews, the granite are amazing. Ranks up there with the granite from Caffè delle Rose in Marina di Ragusa for the best granite.
