Garden Fruit Ischia

I was happy to stumble upon this place for lunch before I got to the castle! Friendly staff, one of whom I assume is the owner. Unfortunately I find it’s becoming less easy to find the freshest ingredients in Italian restaurants but this place was delicious and delightful. €15 for a hearty amount of food plus a small fruit cup and decent sized fresh squeezed juice. The lemon ricotta was amazing and the mozzarella was super fresh; I had a plate of mixed tomatoes with flavorful herb seasoning that came with great bread, sides of couscous, mixed beans, and the cheeses. Open for lunch and aperitivo / dinner. Charming outdoor terrace to boot. I only hope that the plastic they use is recycled but I know they were probably trying to be safe for anti-COVID measures. At any rate I highly recommend especially if you are seeking something on the healthier side / with fresh vegetables.

Unique taste, had a wonderful time here. Pepe is a good host, like others says is just a market but he serve some dishes, as is no price displayed you might be surprised, I was, but in the good way. Pepe on street Giuseppe is a unique place to visit in Ischia and probably in South of Italy.

What a find....a perfect evening. Great food, wine and company. Went home with a rose, spaghetti and magical memories of day 2 in Ishcia. Happy happy days. 😍😍😍. Love this place.....

Most delicious fresh Italian food, healthy and hearty! A must if you are in the local area

This is an incredible place with amazing atmosphere, fresh healthy veggie based dishes, delicious peach wine, fun crowd and delightful live music. If you want to feel energized, happier than you came in, you need to have an aperi dinner there! The best place hands down for a fun Italian experience. We loved it!

A real gem on the island, with authentic flavors that serves only fresh products. The owner of the shop is a real islander with a big heart and nice humor who will make you immediately feel the hospitality and warmth of Ischia. If you see someone chasing a truck to offer the tired driver a vino percoche, you are probably in the right place, sit down and enjoy it!!!

Outstanding fresh and refreshing lunch, wonderful service and a chic space. Come back to Ischia’s agricultural past with a modern menu, in this discrete little hid away… you will be thankful.

Really nice place. They have a fix menu with a fix price per person and there you get drinks and many different veggies and other options!

Sample the most delicious tomatoes with herbs, fresh Mozarella di Bufala, wine and perfect bread with olive oil. Nice environment, funny and nice service.

Lovely place for a simple and delicious meal in the evening. Very hospitable. Serves tomato and mozzarella, bruschetta, fresh juices, wine. Highly recommended.

It has the most delicious fruits and wine, you could really taste the foods specially because of the positive vibes of the place!

Locale accogliente e ottimo apericena.
Rapporto quantità/qualità/prezzo eccellente, frutta e verdura fresca e di stagione, adatto anche a vegetariani/vegani; un ottimo locale dove trascorrere una serata in compagnia.
Un consiglio: non è un posto da aperitivo, ma praticamente da cena! Le porzioni sono molto abbondanti, quindi non consiglio di fare aperitivo qui se poi dovete uscire a cena.
Staff molto cordiale, disponibile e simpatico, abbiamo chiacchierato molto verso fine serata.
Ci tornerei!

Un colpo di genio del titolare di questo posticino situato nel Borgo storico di Ischia Ponte a pochi passi dal Castello Aragonese.
Per creare un localino che fa aperitivi contadini e allestirlo come potete vedere in foto ci vuole una certa dose di Estro creativo.

Aperitivo fisso a base di vino e percoche (pesche gialle), mozzarella e pomodorini locale conditi di spezie e aromi, couscous, insalata russa, pane inzuppato in succo di pomodoro, pannocchie, fagioli all'insalata.

Tutti i sapori tipici ischitani preparati con passione e voglia di far scoprire le origini contadine dell'isola.

Penso che sarà una tappa fissa ogni anno. Brava all ideatore!!

Fantastico si mangia e si beve benissimo. L'oste è una bellissima ragazza piena di entusiasmo e intelligenza sociale. Incredibile e da provare assolutamente...

Il proprietario è davvero una persona simpaticissima!

Un locale certamente originale e diverso per chi vuole mangiare legumi, ortaggi, insalate verdura e frutta genuine. Propongono dei menù al costo di 15 € incluso una bevanda (a cena costa 20 €): è tutto molto buono e naturale. Tra l’altro ho trovato il menù esposto, mi hanno fatto lo scontrino fiscale e accettato la carta di credito! Considerate però che all’ora di pranzo praticamente alle 14 chiude.

Restaurant découvert dans le magazine ELLE. Un accueil très agréable, des produits de qualités et un excellent rapport qualité prix. Je vous le conseil vivement si vous êtes de passage à Ischia Ponte. C'était super bon !
