Such a friendly and laidback bar! Definitely a hidden gem. Staff were friendly and chatty. Spoke good English and prices are so cheap! Very reasonable for the area and good for the wallet on a holiday. Every order we made came with some homemade breads, mini pizzas and quiche. Met some friendly people on the balcony which we enjoyed the amazing view on as well.

Great place just down the road from our Airbnb! Staff was super friendly and helpful! Showed up close to closing time served us with a smile and allowed us to hang out and finish our food and wine without being rushed! Would visit again without hesitation!

Spent every morning there for a week for the coffee and snacks. Staff were friendly and helpful and drinks were amazing. Easily the best decision for food and drink.

Casual bar on Lake Como without the pretentious vibes you'll find at other places. We had the best cappuccino here! The owner is super nice too.

A perfect Neighborhood-Bar with Lakeview

From 4 nights at Lago Di Como we spent two evenings on the terrace of Bar Sonia. The view is simply amazing and the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming.

The menu is simple but the taste of the dishes (we nearly tried all of their pizza varieties) is delicious.

View & Owner & Food = Two perfect evenings out

Bar Sonia is an absolutely fun little bar where you can go anytime during the day to relax or eat and have a drink. The food is absolutely amazing, I’m definitely going to miss it. My favorite dish was the tuna sandwhich and the cappuccinos were perfect! The people that work there are so nice and helpful. Maximillion is an absolutely great person, he was so kind and genuine. He gave me suggestions on what to do around the area and anytime i had any questions he was very helpful. Thank you Maximillion for everything!

Nice bar with excellent cakes and coffee, all served with a portion of wonderful lakeside view😬. Very friendly people, great price/quality. Try the limoncino, fantastic.
