Ristorante La Cambusa

It was one of the most authentic restaurants in Sicily. First of all, it is one of the rare places in Sicily where we can drink house vine of this quality. In fact, I don't remember finding house vine anywhere else in Sicily in 10 different restaurants of this quality. The mixed plate we got was a very successful plate that brought together many different tastes. I ordered a special dish with semolina and fish, you pour the sauce over it and eat it. I definitely recommend this special dish. It is a very original, delicious and satisfying dish.

We were looking at this restaurant while planning our trip to Sicily and me and my husband had an amazing time here. We came here for a whole splurge.

We gave a try to a 1l jug of local wine and it was delicious. Refreshing, easy to drink and it went well with all the dishes we had.

For starters we had a plate of small fried fishies. For some people (like myself) it doesn't look very appetizing but it was simply delicious.

Then we tried 2 pasta dishes and 2 main dishes. All of them made out of seafood. Yeah we had a whole aquarium in our stomach. They were all delicious and something we don't get to eat back at home.

They have whole menu with pictures of evey dish available online so I recommend everyone to have a look at it before going there because there is so many different dishes and it's good to take time to read about them and decide what you want to have.

Best place for dinner in Castellammare del Golfo. I recommend to reserve a table in advance. I like to sit outside and enjoy the view.

I had an incredible dining experience at this seaside restaurant! The octopus salad was simply divine, bursting with flavour and freshness. The service was top-notch, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I can't wait to return for another memorable seaside dining experience.

The food quality is really high, we ate fried squid, squid salad, pasta al nero di seppia and the dish of the day, pasta with anemoni, shrimps and oysters: simply delicious.
Staff is really nice and friendly, and it helps you choosing the freshest dishes. Booking is highly recimmended, as the place itself. Prices are ok for the quality of the food and atmosphere.

We had a wonderful time with our dining experience! We had been out on a charter fishing trip with 'Sicily Fishing Charter' and La Cambusa was able to prepare and serve our fresh fish! It was a beautifully prepared meal with fine wine and delicious deserts! Thank you for the great experience!

It is amazing place, which is worth to be visited! Try antipasti, fish of the day, pasta frutti di mare or anything you wish! Meat meals are also very good. But fish and red shrimp - just perfection. All positions that we tried - were perfectly done and well served. Exceptional service. Prices are more that adequate, one more + to visit it! Strongly recommended))

We got a fantastic appetizer spread here for only 16 euros. The assorted seafood busiate was tasty but slightly overseasoned. For dessert we ordered a (huge) cannolo that was easily the freshest and best I’ve ever had. Recommended

Found this resturant on Google maps, reviews great so went. Was so glad. The food is amazing. We were a large group of 14 and they accommodated us in their air conditioned upstairs room with window views of the harbour. The staff were so nice, friendly and attentive. Recommend the crudite of fish as an antipasto. The seafood pasta was excellent too. Our group had lots of different dishes and everyone enjoyed them. Thank you all

Very fast serving and very educated waiters.
Really nice environment and a lot of attention to detail .I was with my wife and we both loved it, we had antipasti di mare , 1l wine of house, risotto del mare, and fish with pistache and we were definitely full and satisfied. At the end we had a Delicious cannolo scomposto and 2 espresso totalling 60 euros. Definitely worth since it's really good quality

We had an excellent lunch here. The staff were charming and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. Pasta with pistachio cream and shrimp and pistachio crusted filet, as well as six of the best oysters I’ve ever had. This wine also paired perfectly.

Having arrived in Castellammare at the end of the lunch service, we were lucky to find this restaurant... what a fantastic meal! Such a huuuuge portion of mussels, I couldn't make it through them all. Good prices, especially compared to some other parts of the island.

Service was very fast and they were very attentive. Food selection was vast, but not over saturated. The starter and main tasted amazing; and the setting was very pleasant! Food prices were very reasonable! Highly recommend!

Great experience! Oyster, mussels, pasta, dessert everything awesome, the attention of the waiters was amazing as well and the port side location makes it even better
