Fabulous location, we did a wine tasting an four course lunch and couldn’t fault anything. Wines were fabulous, the lesson at the beginning was informative and lunch was an excellent showcase of the best of Italy and Tuscany in particular. Cheeses, antipasti, bruschetta, ravioli and roast pork with tiramisu to finish on top of 8 wines to sample. Magnificent! Thank you

A very charming castle in the heart of Tuscany but close to Florence beautiful architecture and gardens the perfect settings for an event or wedding

I love this castle! It is in the middle of vineyards in the hills south of Florence so it is in a great location. The staff is really friendly and professional so they make sure weddings come off perfectly.

Oh my!!! What a beautiful place! We had a wonderful day of wine experience with others.
The manager,Simone gave us a great presentation on the history of the wines they produce followed by a
fun tour of the vineyard and wine storage only to be followed up with a beautiful table setting for us to sample the wines accompanied by various cheeses, oils, breads, wonderful ravioli and finally roasted pork and salad.
It was truly a highlight of our two weeks in Chianti.

Simply wonderful place castle and winery and large wine yards. Did a tasting tour and was mesmerized by the place and wine. The tasting tour was also one of the best in the world if not the best. Will definitely be back and highly recommended to do in whole of Tuscany if not Italy. Castle did have wedding on the day of tour. So I assume you can book it as well.

Amazing wine tasting experience. Good Chianti Classico too!

Absolutely gorgeous place with fantastic views. Went for a wedding last week. The whole day went so well and was very well executed. The staff were lovely and the ceremony, the food and the whole atmosphere was so romantic and warm.

This castle wedding venue is absolutely stunning and historical. My husband and I, as well as our guests absolutely loved this venue! We were blown away at how gorgeous it was. From every corner of the castle, to the castle grounds, gardens, entranceway, olive and wine groves - everything was naturally beautiful. It's also perfect because we had the freedom to choose the other vendors we wanted to have involved in our wedding. There are several places to sleep overnight that are super close and in walking distance of the venue too. In addition, we were planning our wedding from overseas and we felt really comfortable booking with Castello il Palagio :)

Cecilia was extremely helpful throughout the planning process and answered all the questions we had. Everything was detailed out in the contract we signed, so there weren't any hidden costs or surprises. On the day of the wedding, everything went according to plan, everything was magical.

I'd like to point out that the review from whoever "H B" is, which was made a year ago, is completely WRONG about the venue. The contract that was provided to us was super detailed in terms of what's included with the price that you're paying at the venue. In addition, we used the venue's wine that is sold at the shop next door and it was absolutely fantastic and affordable! I had visited there a year prior to check out the venue, and tried all of their wines and they all tasted great (I'm very picky with my wine too). Overall, I would say they did a 110% job! Bravo!

Too beautiful for words. Experienced a wine tour here with this more than magnificent setting and view. Wine pairings with different cheeses amongst this beauty was simply beautiful and unforgettable... The best I've experienced ♡

I went here for a wedding in May. It's a great location for a small to medium size wedding, though it would be a bit cramped for anything larger. The decor is fantastic inside the castle and there's a great layout of the grounds, with an evergree

Extremely friendly people.

The olive oil to me is better than the Chianti, but I'm not a fan of Chianti. They do a good job of explaining the differences and helping find one meet your taste. No issues with sampling.

Beautiful Venue & Wonderful Food.

We visited for a family wedding. It was a perfect setting. The good was good, and the staff attentive.

Very special place for my daughter's wedding in May. Nothing less than magical!
