I am Canadian potter who stumbled across this shop. What a revelation. I've gone to ceramics conventions all over North America, and I can tell you that this is world class pottery. The lady running the shop was extremely nice & gratious as I asked a million questions and took photos of everything. When walking into town, don't stop at the first place with tacky pieces. Make your way to the second piazza, to find this absolute treasure. Very reasonable prices to boot!

A jewel in San Gimignano! Esther was the sweetest... and their craft speaks volumes. Everything is exquisite and lovingly crafted, reasonably priced and very high quality. One of the best stores in Tuscany!

Very well crafted ceramics made by Franco and his wife. His work is thrown with precision and patience to produce practical and beautiful pieces. He is a very knowledgeable and courteous Potter.

L'artigiano balducci assieme alla moglie anche lei artista è una istituzione a San Gimignano!! Da ormai 20 anni sono nella stessa bottega some lui lavora anche ed è un piacere vederlo all'opera. La sua oliera con il salvagoccia è entrata in moltissime famiglie italiane ma anche estere. Io oggi per esempio ci sono andata apposta partendo da Pisa perché ne voglio regalare una a mia figlia per la sua nuova casa.
