Locanda Dei Mille

My friend and I had an amazing dinner experience in this restaurant! She had the pasta with clams, and I had a fish fillet with vegetables. The food was perfect, and the customer service was friendly. The owner came to talk to us after the dinner, and he was very lovely! I would highly recommend this place if you want fresh seafood:)

Having tried just about every restaurant in the area I must flag La Locanda dei Mille for its excellent service, location, atmosphere and above all its FOOD. Family run with a chef who is clearly talented and passionate. Visited multiple times over summer and never let us down. The location and atmosphere can be intimidating but prices are reasonable and certainly competitive. Recommended for both couples looking for romance or families and friends with a preference for fish (all truly FRESH and all good esp the tartare di gambero rosso, the antipasto di mare caldo, the orata and the zuppa di pesce) over meat (tortelli burro e salvia, al ragù, and a couple of main dishes for those who don’t want fish).. and to top it up.. they have the best GELATO one can find all freshly made on the day by the bucket load. I am writing this review in English though I am Italian because I live abroad and want international people to have a great time in my country. To all Italians — provare per credere!!

We ate at Locanda dei Mille lovely dinner. Our food choices were seafood which was great choice in there. Our food were fresh and delicious. Excellent pasta with sea lupins paired with great wine. Chef was also very kind. I would recommend this place

Me and my partner had lunch at Locanda Dei Mille and was a great surprise.
The atmosphere was nice and coazy , our food was delicious and Ecaterina was so nice and kind and she make great recommendations.

Great place for beer and drinks , this we had and they gave us all kinds of chips and nuts and things , very kind and very fast service , no food taken this is a bar ..... I’m just not one for bar food and. For those that order food at a bar and hated it then please expect that this is a bar ..... not a Michelin rated Restaurant

We enjoyed our dinner here very, very much. Each course was excellent, and the local wine selection was fantastic. We had trouble reading the menu in Italian and they sent a server who spoke English to help us, who was fantastic. Highly recommended!

It would be a good reason to come back to Talamone only for eating in Locanda dei Mille. A great gastronomical experience! All dishes were fantastic. We visited the restaurant several times and every single time it was amazing. Fresh, delicate and tasty. Very clean and hygienic. Service is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The best restaurant in Talamone, where the nice food meets all the expectations and the staff makes sure you are having a great time!

Please don't mistake this restaurant for the Pizzeria next door (La Scesa).
The service was impeccable and the food excellent which can't be said for the other restaurants or bars in the town.

È stata una piacevole sorpresa, dato che il menù propone dei piatti molto particolari!
Una cucina fresca e intrigante, con anche un'ottima selezione di vini, il tutto a dei prezzi in linea con il mercato.
D'estate si pranza sulla piazza antistante il locale, che affaccia direttamente sul porto di Talamone.
Altamente consigliato!

Posto molto bello, situato su una terrazza che affaccia sul mare, in base alla fortuna che si ha si può anche mangiare con vista, il resto del locale non è da meno, tavoli ben distanziati e ben apparecchiati. Il cibo era molto buono, noi abbiamo preso due fritti di calamari al costo di €18 l'uno, ampia scelta di vini alla bottiglia un po' meno al calice. Servizio eccellente e personale cordiale e accogliente.

Sabato con alcuni amici, siamo partiti da Arezzo per raggiungere il mare nell’Argentario. All’ora di pranzo, ci siamo fermati nel paese di Talamone e nella piazza centrale denominata IV Novembre; siamo entrati alla “Locanda dei Mille”. Dove mi sà, entrò anche Garibaldi quando nel 1815 si soffermò qua per rifonirsi di armi e vivande con la Spedizione dei Mille. A parte le battute, devo dire che ho degustato degli ottimi Piatti di Pesce. L’accoglienza è stata molto garbata dal personale femminile, gentile e sorridente ed anche da Riccardo e Gianmarco; i due bravissimi Cuochi, con i quali abbiamo scambiato qualche simpaticissima battuta durante la nostra sosta godericcia. Il locale all’interno è molto carino ma, visto il sole abbiamo deciso di mangiar fuori. Un servizio attento, rapido e preciso ci ha portato dell’ottimo pane caldo sia integrale che bianco con del prosecco che ci ha ben rinfrenscato. A breve tempo è arrivato un’antipasto al cartoccio di polipi e cozze con verdure al vapore e abbiamo proseguito con un primo di tagliolini alle vongole e una ottima leggerissima (perché assolutamente non unta) frittura di calamari & c. diluendo il tutto con del buon vino bianco della casa e finendo con un delicatissimo dolce.
Ho trovato il tutto molto buono e il pesce freschissimo che; Sapeva Veramente di Pesce. Prezzo a mio parere assolutamente sulla media comprensivo di caffè e ammazzacaffè. Da tornarci assolutamente. Straconsigliato.

Ottima location, personale cortese e accogliente, cibo squisito, vongole freschissime. Seggiolone per bimbo piccolo.
