Unbelievable, we haven't eaten this well since we arrived in Italy, after having travelled all over the Puglia coast. San Giovanni Rotondo is a village located high in the mountains, if you pass by don't hesitate to stop at Fil & Max, local products, wine that matches, extremely nice, warm and welcoming staff!

Fil and Max has been very kind with us. The food was tasty, we tried pasta with sausages and caciocaballo cheese I highly recommend this place if you wanna try traditional food!

The food was amazing. The chef welcomed us in and in 15 minutes we had the best tasting appetizers followed by a tour de force 1st/ 2nd & desserts. Thank you Filippo, you are a treasure!

A magical evening in a stunning town in Puglia! We were welcomed like family, after phoning ahead, by the owner and his team - a blend of family and world citizens - for a traditional Pugliese meal. The food was excellent and we would definitely recommend for a future return! Situated in the old city, minutes from the town center and by far, the one with the most up to date info☝🏾

Very nice food and amazing staff! Ideal for people who have to eat gluten free! The waiter was very aware of what has gluten or not, so it's totally safe! Second time here in two visits to San Giovanni, and I'd come back again!

Found this little gem in a small alley in the old part of town and glad that we did. The food was amazing we had appetizers, paccheri di casa del sigatore, troccoli alle vongole, sorbeto al limone, semifreddo and semicaldo. The owner is very kind, chef is very talented and staff is very attentive, we'll sure be back again!

We found this hidden treasure while trying to find a place to eat while most restaurants were closing for an afternoon siesta! What a find it was! The atmosphere was enchanting, the staff quite attentive and patient with our inability to speak Italian! The pasta was outstanding, the wine was so delicious and the other guests present were so gracious to share a taste of their desert when we told them it looked amazing! This was such a.wondeful experience and if find our way back to Italy we would definitely go back!

Excellent service and the food was delicious! My husband and I went there twice during our short stay in the area and we were very satisfied! Loved their appetizers, grilled lamb and risotto! Highly recommended!
