Hotel Gran Paradiso

We chose this place for us and our guests to stay during our wedding. Additionally, we had our rehearsal, welcome, and farewell dinner events. The reception crew, bar tender, servers, and Gerardo made sure that us and our guests were well taken care of for any need.

Great service, great amenities, and great food!
Everyone loved the SPA also.

I am from Los Angeles, California. My wife and I traveled to San Giovanni Rotondo on our own to visit the church of Padre Pio. This hotel is also a perfect spot for us because the purpose of our travel is to visit religious catholic sites such as Lanciano , Loreto and St.Francis of Assisi.( These places are within driving range from San Giovanni Rotondo ) The rooms of this hotel are spacious ( USA standard ) with the same amenities such as hot shower with strong stream, Mini fridge and a safebox. The hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating during our 9 days stay in the hotel . To name some of them Francisco. Who was very attentive to our needs. Excellent customer service. He speaks good English that made a lot of difference in helping us plan our trips. Maria Gracia , Rachel , Maria , and Patricia who works at the coffee shop and bar who were always helping us when we have questions and requests. Grazi . It is through this hotel that my wife and I met Antonio Ricciardi who owns a taxi company. He literally took us to any place that we wanted to see around San Giovanni Rotondo including Lanciano and Loreto . He was personally baptized by Padre Pio and received his first communion from the saint himself (St. Padre Pio ) As you can see we were in good hands . His prices are reasonable and I can tell you he is trustworthy.

At hotel Hotel Gran Paradiso the staff will make you feel at home a very nice hotel just a few minutes walking from the Padre Pio's sanctuary and churches.
Rooms are spacious with a comfortable/large beds and a panoramic balcony. The shower is quite big with rain forest shower heads.
A generous breakfast with a large variety of food.
Free 2 underground parking was a nice option too. The hotel staff very helpful and informative even if sometime it's a tricky question they will use Googletranslate to give you the right answer.
The onsite restaurant was nice too but the amazing experience was the massages from Francisca she were fabulous and very professional!
Best spa from design and interior point of view and one of the nicest relaxing experience ever, thumbs up.
We will definitely come back with our friends !!!

We didn’t stay in the hotel, but we spent several hours in the spa. Great sauna and the massages from Luciana and Renata were fabulous! Best spa in the area and one of the nicest we’ve been to. We will be back often!

Beautiful rooms, great service, amazing pool area to spend time in and it is very close to the chapel of San Pío. My only issue with the hotel is that the dinner is very small specific in meals so if you don't eat some kind of food (you are vegetarian or etc) let them know sooner rather than later. Great service overall though and the did their best to accommodate us despite the few issues. Wouls stay again!

Nice hotel, located walking distance to Padre Pio Shrine. Check in was in and out. Good breakfast and nice parking garage. Rooms a good size, nicely decorated. Definitely, I will stay next time I go to San Giovanni Rotondo.

Superb view, perfect place to stay , amazing big statue of St Padre Pio by the entrance , great staff , very accommodating excellent housekeeping very clean and tidy. Big space the lobby, affordable, the restaurant serve fresh food , accessible to all wheelchairs , easy and walking distance to the Sanctuary of St. Padre Pio.

Fine welcome and warm incoming at Sale e Pepe" restaurant, where madterchef and sommelier Gerardo suggests personalized courses and wines. Top at breakfast time, one of the rarest and fully selected introductions we have ever seen. Low prices but high quality do exists! Thanks to everybody there.
