Beautiful beach with such clear water. We watched fish swim around our feet. Not busy. We got there on our own hired boat but there seemed to be a way you walk there from a busy beach at one end. Highly recommend ignoring the other beaches in the area and going here.

It’s so magnificent! Unfortunately you can’t go up on the rock anymore (since people has been damaging it) but it might be even better like this, you can take a beautiful picture of the Scala with no people 😍

We went by car, rented an umbrella and two sunbeds for 20.-€ the whole day. We stayed at the Lido Scala dei Turchi. The prices at the Chiosco down at the beach were good!

Scala dei Turchi - "Staircase of the Turks" or "Turkish Steps" is a rock cliff on the coast of Realmonte, southern Sicily.
The scale consists of marl, a sedimentary rock with a characteristic white color.
The cliffs lie between two sandy beaches and are a limestone rock formation in the form of a staircase.
The name derives from the Turkish pirates, found shelter in this area less beaten by the winds.
In August 2007, the Scala dei Turchi was included in the UNESCO Heritage.

Perfect for sunset. We took the stairs from one of the bars and arrived at the beach. Unfortunately the white rocks weren’t accessible

Beautiful, crowded therefore I recommend seeing it from a boat or SUP. If you can't do that search for belvedere Scala Dei Turchi. It's only 200m from the actual stairs but the views are amazing and you get a panorama of the whole bay.

Breathtaking cliffs. You can take a boat for about €5 per person to see them from all different angles.

Beautiful views and nice beach with beachbars and cafes scattered. Parking pretty easy and reasonable. €6 for 4 hours. Water was warm. Wasn't busy as we were there in the late afternoon. I understand that may have been unusual.

Beautiful spot! A little tricky to find parking but we got lucky and found one on the road otherwise there are some pid spots. The view from both sides is really lovely. See it from above and down near the water, and nice spot for a swim, few bars selling drinks etc.

A really nice rock wall and definitely worth a visit (if you find a good parking spot). The wind is very strong, so be careful. Unfortunately, the area was fenced off, so I had to stay a short distance away from the rocks.

I had the pleasure of visiting Scala dei Turchi, and the experience left me in awe of nature's beauty. This stunning white limestone cliff, situated along the coast of Realmonte in Sicily, Italy, is a true marvel.

As I approached the Scala dei Turchi, the contrast between the brilliant white rock and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea took my breath away. The natural erosion has created smooth, undulating curves on the cliff's surface, resembling a grand staircase that leads down to the crystal-clear waters below.

One of the highlights of my visit was ascending to the top of the cliffs, where I was rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The vantage point allowed me to appreciate the scale of Scala dei Turchi and the intricate patterns etched by the elements over time.

Exploring the unique geological formations was a joy, and I found myself captivated by the textures and shapes that make Scala dei Turchi so distinctive. The sensation of walking on the soft, chalky surface added to the surreal experience.

The beach at the base of the cliffs provided a perfect spot to relax and soak in the Mediterranean sun. The clear water invited me for a refreshing swim, and the juxtaposition of the bright white cliffs against the azure sea created a picturesque backdrop for memorable moments.

Scala dei Turchi is not just a geological wonder; it's also a testament to the beauty and power of nature. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a beach lover, or someone seeking a unique and tranquil escape, Scala dei Turchi is a must-visit destination that will leave you with lasting memories of its breathtaking beauty.

Very nice and beautiful place. The most wonderful moment is the sunset. U can wait for it u will not regret.the water is good also to swim and jump, but just be careful when u finish swimming u may hurt yourself with the rocks. There is an easy parking just in front and I can walk. The place is free entrance

Beautiful place with unique landscapes. The walk to the steps to the breathtaking views from is totally worth the visit. Gets busy by midday so getting there early is highly recommended. The beach is not big big but really nice and clean. There are a couple of bars and a restaurant there too.

It’s all about the view. Make sure to experience from above and from the Lido Rossello beach.

Truly a beautiful place to visit. I was very impressed with the beach walk on the way to see these white sand stone cliffs. There are a few restaurants along the way if you desire.

Perfect place to go in the cooler months before its gets very hot and crowded.

Took this shot on the edge of a cliff. It’s beautiful from a distance but awesome when you’re actually there. It’s a smooth rock face made of limestone and marl. Make sure to wear nonslip shoes. I hiked it barefoot, which is easier. Bring swimwear cause water is clear, and not too cold during the day.
