Caffé Roma

We were there almost everyday in our 6 day Monopoli trip. Good espresso, tasty croissants. But the wow factor was the gelato. It was so good, tasted like a natural ice cream! Many local were also suggesting this place so you know it is good 😊 🍨

One of the best ice creams I have tasted in all of Italy. The fruit ones taste like real fruit! The mango one was incredible. The price is great for the portion!

Back in Monopoli after three years of craving gelato from Caffé Roma. I go to most gelato places in the cities I visit, and this place is just too good, possibly one of the best I’ve tried in Puglia!

Great cappuccino, pastries and fully filled pasticiotti. Definitely better choice than touristy places near the port, and incomparable prices. 2 cappuccinos, a croissant and a bun filled with cream cost us 5.10€ including coperto.

BEST GELATO! I tried lots of ice creams during my trip to Puglia, and this one was definitely the best. So creamy and tasteful 😋

The really best café espresso, and I've tried many. Furthermore, the staff is super kind and friendly. Additionally, the pastry is fresh and homemade for real, which is not given for granted nowadays. Ice cream is wonderful.

Absolutely the best ice cream in Apulia❤❤❤❤🍦I lived in Monopoli for two weeks and had ice cream from Cafe Roma sometimes twice or three times a day. Ice cream is out of this world, good value for money and worth waiting in a queue. MUST TRY!!!

Went for my morning coffee and afternoon gelato here several times. Very local feel though popular also with tourists so be prepared for the buzz and noise which is very typical for Italian places. Great, strong coffee, loved the overall atmosphere.

I came at 6.40 after the sunrise 🌅, the people are lovely and I ordered pistachio croissant and it was amazing. I paid total of 6.70 for 3 and 2 espressos.

Espresso macchiato (espresso with foamed milk), coffee granita with whip cream (icy coffee / shaved ice), and some almond cookies!! So delicious and refreshing - just the boost we needed!! and the staff were super friendly and spoke English well. They were happy to explain their specialties with a smile! And hence my 5 star review as everything was outstanding! Not that they even need my review as it's already well rated, now I see why!

One of the best gelato eaten in South of Italy: creamy and flavored. We loved Coco/Perla del Sud (pistachio/mandorla), Fiordilatte, Caramello Salato. The owner was super friendly - showed us the old yet still functional machinery and had us taste some new flavors. Totally recommended! (The old city is a gem - not to be missed).

The best gelato in Monopoli, and some of the best I’ve had in Italy during a 2 month trip travelling around. The chocolate fondente is amazing!

Coffee, pistachio cornetto & maritozzi were absolutely exceptional 💕 it was one of our favourite places in Monopoli, prices were super low and quality was great, I really recommend this place :)

I have tried 'gelato' from different places in Monopoli (Gasperini, Bella Blu) but in Caffe Roma are the best. Great balance of sweet and you feel the flavor from the first taste 🥰
