I would not hesitate to travel back to Italy if the only reason for my trip was to eat at this restaurant again. Wonderful family environment, incredible view, and delicious food. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are great people, and Fabio (our server multiple times over the week) was FANTASTIC! Do not skip out on La Torretta

Our favourite restaurant IN THE WORLD. We got married in Giungano, so have visited the village several times over the years, and every time La Torretta has been the most incredible dining experience we could have asked for. The terrace setting is just heavenly and so authentically Italian, the staff are so attentive and friendly, and the food is literally out of this world. The bruschetta!! The aubergine parmigiana!!! We couldn’t love this place more. And it’s so affordable, too. Even when we took almost 30 people along on our wedding weekend, it was just as brilliant as ever, they were amazing at hosting a large group and gave us so much delicious food and plenty of quality limoncello. I’m a food journalist so I’ve eaten at some great restaurants, but nowhere I’ve been matches up to La Torretta.

I’ve been to a lot of restaurants all over the world, Michelin star included, and I can safely say that this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Wow wow wow. I’d come back to Italy just to come back here.

From the moment we stepped into this beautiful restaurant, we were greeted by Anna (Chef & Owner) followed by her daughter. Such genuine and amazing individuals & their service was one of a kind. We sat at their outdoor patio which was overlooking the lush green hillside and was spectacular. We ordered something completely off the menu and this was by far the best Seafood Risotto we’ve ever eaten!! Oh and their homemade chilli oil is a must try for all the spice lovers. She even packed me a small jar to go since I loved it very much! If you are in the area, you must dine here!

The simple fact that I'm taking the time to write my very first review on Google should indicate how impressed and passionate I am about this establishment.

If you are anywhere in the area an hour or so South of Salerno, you must take the time to drive up to this absolutely incredible family run ristorante.

The setting couldn't be more surreal and idyllic. A beautiful courtyard full of outdoor tables set below a magnificent old fortress like tower complete with a stunning view across the valley all the way out to the sea.

The son, Pasquale and his wife take care of waiting on the tables while his mother runs the kitchen and his father ensures that the entire operation operates as efficiently as it does.

Every single dish we tried was delicious and made with the freshest ingredients and genuine care and attention from the chef. You can't go wrong ordering any item on their menu (chicken, pasta, vegetables...they are all spectacular).

The Bufala di mozzarella they use in their caprese salads is the best Bufala di mozzarella I've tasted in all my trips to Italy.

The food and experience were so good we went here twice in our last three days in Santa Maria di Castellabate.

My wife and our two children were treated like family the moment we walked into this establishment.

Please do not miss visiting La Torretta as this ristorante is what Italy is all about.

This dinner was the quintessential Mediterranean Grand Italian dinner. Amazingly tasty dishes created with simplicity by a proud family. Excellent value, a great view and a real family vibe. Only down side is I ate about 4 dinners worth of food!

Gorgeous and charming local restaurant. The staff are friendly and hospitable. The location is beautiful. It's really nice to be able to enjoy a traditional meal among locals, everyone greeting each other. A really enjoyable Italian experience!

This is a hidden gem located with a fantastic view in the lovely town of Giungano.

Rafaele, Irma and Anna are lovely and the food is absolutley amazing. The dog Billy is also super nice.

We ate here for two nights and watched the EM finals, great night! Would recommend everyone to come eat and enjoy the service and the view!

An incredible meal with an amazing view! It is hard to believe that the food or ambiance can get much better then this.

During our first day in Giungano we ate here twice. We highly recommend the caprese salad, the stuffed eggplant, the seafood salad, and the Cilento style pasta with porchini mushrooms. These dishes were exceptional.

The added bonuses are the owner and his staff are wonderfully friendly. This place is truly special.

Great food, great view, friendly waiters. There is a beautiful view from the terrace. All the tables have a great view as they are all outside, but if you are making a reservation, ask for the table under the pomegranate tree!

I would highly highly highly recommend this restaurant, it is absolutely amazing. The service is lovely, the views from the restaurant are something soo special that you don’t see and hardly any tourists it’s very quiet and just perfect. The food also is so great!!!
