Wonderful location, right above the lake in front of the San Giulio island. Great fish dishes, the chef likes to innovate and go beyond traditional recipes, with great results. Starters, fish and desserts are highly recommended. Staff is quick and speaks foreign languages. Coffee could be improved.

The waiters were super caring, they changed us our table several times for being in a better position just in front of the island.
The food was also good for a fair price. I recommend the gnocchi and the salty cheesecake with bresaola; both creamy and tasty😊.

Almost finished for this holiday and the restaurants keep getting better. This was upstairs in an historic building and again, service and food were top class. Recomnended.

Beautiful views of Isola San Giulio (which we had just visited). Dining on the water is always a treat. Tortelli ripieni di Ossobuco, crema di risotto allo zafferano e gremolada was the best combination I found the entire trip. Milanese Ossobuco with saffron sauce used here on Tortellis rather than risotto.

I stopped for lunch on a perfect day. The setting and view were perfect. The meal and service were ecxellent. A highlight of my trip to Italy.

I recommend this place to impress somebody (either a date or outsiders, or your mom). This is one of the best restaurants I’ve tried in Italy. They excel in their plates and I have yet to find another sea bass cooked in salt crust like the one they make here. The wine selection is true to the area and the service is happy to recommend something to your needs.

The view was magical. The food was outstanding, was first class food and service. An absolute delight to visit and dine here.

Literally the best food we've ever eaten. Ever. Very reasonable price considering the beautiful venue and quality. If you can get a table on the veranda, over sunset it's stunning.

We ate fish food (ombrina and baccalà with polenta). In both cases the dishes were very tasty. The view of the lake and Isola San Giulio from the terrace of this restaurant deserves to be mentioned. Also the coffee espresso was good.

Very good food and wine. The waiter taking care of our table was very nice, overall the staff were very welcoming which is absolutely essential. The view ofc is breathtaking.

A little on the pricier side but well worth it.
The waiters were attentive and entertaining and very accommodating after we struggled to find somewhere to eat on our first night in Orta.

Very tasty pasta options and salads. We were lucky to get a table on the terrace with a view over the lake and island San Giulio and we really enjoyed our lunch there. Two ladies who were our waitresses were very attentive and friendly.

This place definitely deserves a higher rating.
Excellent food especially their scallops. Fish and chips also has a different twist here. Fresh ingredients, both the fish and the chips (non fries type).
Superb service too, special mention to Mario who is one of the most cheerful I have ever come across.

Had a very good meal at this place with 4 persons. Food and presentation where excellent. The service was perfect. Even it was quite busy the waiters been always friendly and helpful. This place has 2 different terraces with different menus. We had a table at the lakeside with a beautiful view on the lake and the Isola.
