Marina di Petrolo Hotel & SPA

We travelled as a family of five with three young adult children. We loved our stay here. Beautiful hotel, great pool with fantastic views and the staff were wonderful. They could not have been more helpful with all our questions and requests. They very kindly let us use the pool and facilities free of charge on our final day, while we waited for our evening transfer to the airport. Great location close to restaurants and beach. I am looking forward to returning.

An idyllic oasis in the heart of Sicily, with easy access (by car) to surrounding areas of interest. The swimming pool (complete with jacuzzi pool) is enveloped by mountains and the scenery is simply breathtaking. This boutique hotel is modern, stylish and immaculately clean. They are eco friendly too! The rooms are generous in size, fully air conditioned and furnished tastefully. The rooms are tranquil, guaranteeing an excellent nights sleep, in preparation for the spectacular breakfast that awaits! The breakfast room is one of a kind, with a panoramic view of the sea and surrounding landscape. The food is divine and the staff are super attentive to your every need. The spa is the perfect way to end the day before setting off to the local town which is in walking distance. I am so privileged to have found this gem of a hotel. I cannot recommend it enough. The owners are clearly passionate about hospitality and pride themselves on exceptional customer service. I will certainly be looking to book again for this year!

Warm welcome, very friendly staff, feeling like at home. Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed and great selection at the breakfast buffet, from sweet to salty. Quiet, outside of the center, but shops, restaurants and bars easy in walking distance reachable. 😃👍🏻

Great location with easy parking & super views. Very efficient, modern & considered. Decent linen, hot water & WiFi, and pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast, nothing to fault.

The hotel and staff are wonderful. The staff is exceptional. They even found me a hair stylist so I could have my hair done for a wedding.

The breakfast is great with many selections to choose from and the view from the breakfast room is beautiful.

We would definitely stay at the hotel again.

We wanted to go up on the mountain to see the Belvedere (lookout), so we asked if they could help us book a taxi. Instead, one of the hotel owners offered to drive us there himself. Very appreciated! 😍

Great hotel. Clean and delicious buffet breakfast!! Room with balcony is worth it. Front desk is super helpful and recommended amazing restaurants, a winery, and helped get a taxi to the airport. Would go back!

We had a triple room - smaller bed is a twin. Need to ask them to make the bed for you and provide linen.

The breakfast was amazing and so fresh every day and the staff at breakfast, especially Gabriella, were so helpful. The rooms are spotless as is the whole hotel. The pool is relaxed and we never had a problem getting 4 sun beds together every time we needed them. The entire vibe in the hotel is happy and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back here if we come to Sicily again.

A super boutique hotel with a great fantastic team - always smiling and helpful. Location benefits a superb view of the bay from its infinity pool, as do many of the rooms, as well as close proximity of some excellent restaurants. Facilities are very good - and even offers a wellness/fitness centre. Thoroughly recommend.

This is one the best (if not the best) hotel we have stayed at in Europe. Everything about this hotel, from the welcome at the airport(paid extra for transfer) to the large metal sunbeds, shout quality. The rooms are large, well decorated, well equipped, have efficient air con and large comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the views certainly give you the wow factor especially in the breakfast room and from the far end of the pool. The photos on the website do not do this hotel justice as the whole place is spotless and the linen in the room have that just fresh just washed clean smell. This hotel is exceptional value for money, we would highly recommend it and look forward to a return visit

My wife and I got married in Castellamare del Golfo and needed an accommodation for us and our closest guests who are used to a certain standard. After much research and visiting of other hotels in the area (prior to our wedding visit) we decided upon Marina di Petrolo. I can say, without any hesitation, that we made the best decision. Francesco and his staff were so welcoming and accommodating both prior to our stay and throughout. The staff was so friendly, from the reception, to the breakfast, to the spa, even room service. Their attention to detail is unmatched.
The rooms were clean, modern, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast was fantastic, with a beautiful view over the coast. The spa facilities were clean, with professional staff.
With most of our family staying at the hotel, the pool (and poolside bar) was the perfect spot to cool off under the warm Sicilian sun.
The location of the hotel was very central, yet away from the loud street noises that other guests (staying at other hotels) experienced.

Francesco and his staff were extremely accommodating and efficient with shuttle and transport services (no easy task with a group our size).

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Castellamare del Golfo, and my wife and I will absolutely be back.

Great hotel.Beautifully clean, decorated and furnished in a lovely modern style. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the best we have had in Italy! Easy to get to from Palermo airport. A very happy experience in a wonderful hotel. We hope to come again . Gerry and Sandra

Amazing place to stay! Beautiful sea view, tasty food and the staff was so friendly, especially Rosalina ☺ They also offer wellnes and spa centre which is excellent. Highly recommend!

Amazing view, great location, close to PMO airport, I loved the infinity pool and jacuzzi, perfectly clean, modern style.
On the top of everything, the stuff is adorable, so welcoming, always ready to help and very flexible, anticipating clients needs - which is a rare feature.
I had a great positive feeling while staying there and I am looking forward so much to be back there - I even consider the option of renting a flat from them and stay over for some weeks.
Miss Rosaria and Mr. Francesco are the most lovable people that I have ever met in hospitality - and I do travel a lot! I will recommend it to all my friends who want to visit Sicily. Thank you!

Very nice, modern and welcoming interiors. Beautiful infinity pool. Exceptionally clean. Breakfast just amazing - definitely much more than Italian standard.
But what I liked the most were people. Nice, friendly, helpfully. Because of them my vacation was just perfect.

Beautiful place to stay and the staff was so accommodating- they got us early check in and even packed a breakfast for us when we had to leave before breakfast to get to the airport. Would 100% recommend this place to friends and family!

Had a fantastic holiday here. Super convienient location, staff are great, lovely accomodation. Pool is a good size and not overcrowded for the size of the hotel which is a big plus. Has parking for guests off street. The spa is lovely as well. Could not recommend this place more.
