La Buvette Lago d'Orta

A wonderful deli full of local, regional and Italian delicacies.
The olive oil, cheeses and hams are wonderful. They also sell a chocolate nut spread that was the original Nutella (and much nicer, less processed and pure ingredients).
There is a lovely restaurant attached with seating at the front where you can watch the world go by plus a shaded courtyard at the back for hotter days or a more intimate meal. The chef, and of course ingredients, result in delicious dishes - one of the best meat boards and certainly the best gaspachio I have tasted.
I look forward to becoming a regular 🥰

We came in for some lunch and left with a bag full of delicious premium products and a lot of knowledge.

If you are interested in high quality and authentic Italian food products this is the place to be! We had an amazing lunch here and after that a tour of all the products, where they came from, how to use them and even had some tasting samples. What started as a quick lunch turned into a 2 hour "food tour" and a bag full of delicious products. Thanks alot for the experience and all of the knowledge we've learned!

Recommended! We stopped here for a small lunch, the owner recommended things to share etc. We settled for bruschetta with tomatoes and ricotta.
And we were surprised: we got bread with olive oil while waiting, the bruschetta was served with garlic, olive oil, tomatoes and ricotta, plus basilicum.
This is prepared with love!

Absolutely beautifuly done and presented shop and eatery, amazingly fresh produce and staff that love what they are serving. One of the best lunches I have had.

A proper gem of a place, come here if you're looking for the best that Italy has to offer in terms of food and wine (they have a great selection of cheeses and charcuterie from all over the country). Great wine and spritz, friendly staff and a very elegant atmosphere. Highly suggested!

We had a fantastic lunch here! The owner/chef (we think) explained everything local cheeses and meats on the platters he served with fruit/veggies to clean the palate between bites. Everything was delicious with lovely presentation! Even had balsamic vinegar tastings in the shop as well as lemon and hazelnut liqueurs! Highly recommend a visit!!

This was exactly the place I was looking for! Giovani had awesome customer service and he spoke English. He was very kind and helpful and loved all the knowledge he had about his products!! We purchased 30yr old balsamic, pecorino as a gift which was vacuumed sealed for our flight home and of course some other meat and cheeses plus some fresh bread! We still have several more days in this town. Looking forward to going back.

Very nice shop with a wide selection of quality local goods that are well priced. They are very welcoming and friendly and allowed us to taste and learn about the local olive oil and balsamico. Highly recommended!

Das Servicepersonal hat uns die ganze Karte erklärt und Empfehlungen abgegeben. Die Produkte zeugen von sehr hoher Qualität und hatten keine Konservierungsstoffe. Das Essen war heute unser überraschendes Highlight!!!

Ho cenato già diverse volte a La Buvette: è difficile trovare prodotti di questa qualità curati meglio di così. Ogni proposta è deliziosa (provate il carpaccio!) e spesso accompagnata da frutta o liquori che ne esaltano il sapore. Il personale è gentilissimo, ma soprattutto estremamente preparato pronto a raccontare e consigliare.
Anche l'allestimento del locale è sopra la media: ambiente elegante ma accogliente, con pezzi d'arte alle pareti ed una scelta musicale gradevole. Assolutamente consigliato.

Capitati per caso per una merenda/pranzo 😊 abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare l’assoluta bontà e ricercatezza del cibo, la cordialità del personale, accolti in un ambiente di gran gusto. Se ne avremmo l’occasione, torneremo sicuramente a farvi visita. Continuate così!

Bagna cauda, polenta, lasagne, trippa, carne marinata in salsa di acciughe... Ha accontenta tutto il gruppo, peccato che ci fosse da aspettare per un piatto (che era in cottura) subito sostituito

Siamo stati in questa splendida locazione nel cuore di Omegna. Si assapora appena entri una voglia di esperienza e di degustazioni.Accolti con simpatia e professionalità da un giovane cameriere il quale ci ha coccolati per l intera durata della nostra permanenza, soprattutto puntuale nelle risposte e nelle richieste, ad esempio con il vino.
Semplicemente abbiamo scelto insieme un vino dando delle nostre caratteristiche che volevamo riscontrare nello stesso. Con professionalità ma semplicità ci ha regalato una poesia nel bere.
Senza i soliti sermoni di presunti intenditori.
Cibo squisito,grande assortimento, simpatico il titolare.
Darei più visibilità nel reparto amari e grappe.

Rigtig fin sted at spise . Absolut den bedste gazpacho jeg fik . Man kan spise her ude og inde i de fine restaurant lokale inde samt bag ved i gård . Skal opleves . ! Vi fik købt også gode ting med hjem
