If you travel to Lake Como, I highly recommend visiting this shop. You'll be able to purchase products crafted by Italian artisans at really good prices. As a couple who have a fondness for shoes and leather goods, we walked into the store and immediately began to feel delighted as we assessed the quality and prices of the products, and the owner kindly and thoroughly explained the products his family had crafted and provided attentive customer service.
Considering some of reviews about the service and sharing my perspective; when artisans sell goods they've meticulously created, I believe they do so with even more passion and pride than with goods they simply retail. While buyers may not need to fully grasp this sentiment, when shopping at a place where items are made and sold on-site, it seems important to recognize this aspect and feel that we're receiving goods and service worth more than the money we've paid. From my own experience, I felt that whenever I travel to Lake Como in the future, I would definitely visit this place again and I would also recommend it to others, and share how wonderful this place was.

Amazing service and selection! I searched for leather shoes all throughout Florence and didn't find ones I liked, yet this shop had several hand made ones to chose from in my large size!

Both my wife and I had a great chat with the owner as he graciously stayed open late to fit us both with a pair of shoes we still love!

Came to buy 1 shoe - Came out with 5, one for each member of the family. Rolando is a local handmade shoe for more than 70+ years across three generations and all for the right reasons. This is a warm family business that takes great pride in high quality luxury shoes.

The owner has a good eye and recommendation on shoe size, temperature of country, and function. Shoe is meticulously stitched to the finest detail, there is excellent finishing and craftmanship. Very helpful especially with tax benefits, we got an additional shoe for free on tourism tax benefits.

Lovely shoe place in the shopping district overall. Looking forward to wearing this masterpiece for years.

If you are in Bellagio, I highly recommend stopping by Rolando’s leather goods store. They’ve been in business for over 70 years through four generations. Needless to say, these folks know leather.

My partner and I walked in with the intention of getting him loafers and we left with four pairs of shoes. I got these sandals in brown and another black pair of loafers. Every pair of shoe or bag comes from high quality leather and we both are so excited to wear our shoes out when we’re home in the states.

My wife and I stopped by and we were treated so well by the multi-generation family owners. Not only do they treat you like old friends but they’ve been hand-making the very shoes you’re trying on and purchasing for generations. How often can you say that?

We bought a pair and decided to wear them to dinner later that evening. During our walk home that evening we kept raving how comfortable the form-fitting the shoes were. First time wearing them and we experienced ZERO discomfort. In fact, we felt our feet getting more and more comfortable with each step!

We loved them so much we found ourselves back at the shop the following day purchasing even more shoes!

Take my word for it, if you purchase a pair (or two!) you will be talking about these incredible shoes to friends and family for years to come.

Incredible store! We bought a beautiful pair of men’s shoes and a lovely handbag. Handmade quality you won’t find like that often. I am obsessed with this store!!!!! My husband and I bought shoes here this past weekend and our lives are forever changed. This store is a must!

We each bought a pair and decided to wear them that night to dinner. On our walk home, we couldn’t stop talking about how comfortable our feet were. Normally, it’s not the best idea to wear brand new, sockless loafers around a cobbled street for hours but these shoes hand-made here are a whole different level. My arches were supported, no blisters, and as the night went on, they formed more and more to my feet!

It’s a family owned and operated store. They use the finest materials and make the shoes themselves. They are so talented. If you want to wear custom Italian leather shoes for a great price, this is your store.

We went back the next day and each bought about 5 more pairs!! I am no longer wearing cheaply made shoes!

Great shoe store! It’s difficult to find shoes for my husband’s large feet and they had several pairs in his size. Women’s shoes were also great!! Helpful staff with great quality shoes. Google will not allow me to post pictures.

My wife and I had a pleasant experience here, and purchased a pair for each of us. The owner was inviting and kind. We visited the store first to try on, than decided to come back later in the day to purchase. As for pricing, it wasn't cheap, but felt right for such high quality shoes. The owner said they still make them locally, and had much pride sinced the company started with his grandfather.

My husband bought two pair of leather shoes and a leather belt from a very nice man named Cristiano. It’s a family owned business and he makes the shoes himself. The shoes are very nice quality and style. Cristiano was very personable and sweet. He adjusted the shoes to my husband’s liking since he has wider feet. We end up coming back every few years here and then to purchase leather shoes from Rolando since it’s the best quality and outstanding service. Thank you again, Cristiano!

Walked in to browse. Left with three pairs and two belts. Christiano’s son was amazing and honest. Buy the local brand( their family brand). Fantastic shoes. Well crafted. You can tell they are super proud of their products- as they should be. I’m going to be ordering shoes from them in the future.

Great service and what a quality of shoes, mocassins!! Premium leather, needles inside for comfort! I’m a minimalist shoe wearer in day to day life an can honestly say this comes the closest to minimalistic shoes.
The choice was difficult but it only means I’ll be back next year!

Best shoe shopping experience ever! My wife and I who are normally used to the overpriced (EUR500-1000), but average quality, luxury branded shoes you can buy in HK, and found this amazing place while causally walking thru Bellagio. We ended up purchasing 20+ shoes, several bags, belts and more. You can find here very high quality Italian leather products from a shoemaker family that makes shoes over generations (since 1949) for prices (ca. EUR100-500 per piece) which we consider to be very fair for such quality. If you buy multiple items you also can ask for a small discount. So you come here for quality and experience. Also bring cash for payment which helps do get the best price ;) we will certainly come back or order again.

Whilst in Italy we wanted to buy some quality handcrafted shoes and were not let down. The owner was very helpful as which style would best fit our feet and we were so happy they we bought three pairs. You really cannot beat the quality and comfort.
