Cantina Berioli

We had a wonderful morning enjoying a tour of the vineyard with Irene, who was so knowledgeable and happy to answer our many questions. The wine-tasting was a real treat and was paired beautifully with some delicious bread, meats, cheese and chocolate! We would highly recommend this experience to those wishing for a relaxed wine-tasting.

Fantastic winery with a passionate team dedicated to honest and sustainable wine making. Irene, the sommelier did a superb job and gave us lots of time to taste, appreciate and enjoy the wine and the cheese and ham platter. Highly recommended!

Oh, and of course they have some excellent wines too!

We had a really nice wine tasting tour with a visit to the vineyard. It started with a pleasant and friendly welcome by sommelier Irene. Irene is a very polite and warm host and took her time to answer all questions. We felt totally at ease inside the cantina and tasted several tasteful Berioli wines with some local cheese and meats. We learned to appreciate a quality wine. Highly recommended!

We had a great time here. We opted for the 6 wine tasting and just the bread and olive oil. We met another German couple, that had the meats and cheese that looked delicious. Irene gave us a talk on the grapes, harvest, and process, and introduced us to the owner and wife. Irene has amazing knowledge of the family company, and the wines, and it was wonderful to share our time there with her. The wines were great, and we ended up taking several home with us...and some olive oil. Would recommend this great small winery, dedicated to amazing organic wine.

Fantastic winery focused on producing organic biological environmentally friendly wines. We met the main owner Roberto who was super nice and welcoming. The tasting was diverse and featured 7 wines and a selection of cheeses and local olive oil. Great stop! Service was great.

My family came here to Berioli Wines and had a lovely time. Irene was a great hostess and gave us an informative private tour of the vineyards which had great views of the valley. We tasted 3 white and 3 red wines which were superb in quality with fresh cheese, sausage and olive oil from the vineyard on bread slices.

Great cozy place, she did a fantastic job and we felt very welcome! You should make a reservation to have the full 2h wine tasting for 25€ with food per person

The three of us were treated to a great short tour of the winery. Irene showed us the land and the cellar where the barrels are kept and told us all about the ways Berioli make themselves stand out (in good English!) Afterwards we had a very nice tasting of the different wines they have to offer. Every wine with its unique story. Irene made us feel very welcome and took the time to explain everything. Even the owner (Roberto Berioli) took the time to greet us and talk to us a bit. The passion for this small winery comes trough in everything!
If you are close and love wine, certainly concider visiting them!

Excellent wine tasting experience a stone's throw from Lake Trasimeno. A great selection of organically produced wines, accompanied by passionate local bi-lingual sommelier and a delicious Umbrian antipasti. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you are lucky, you will also meet owner Roberto.

Visiting this winery was the highlight of my trip. Irene was the sweetest and showed us just how much this winery and this team pour into their product! You can feel the passion from the team! Such a serene vineyard- hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed probably our best wine tasting ever today at Berioli! We were treated to a true Italian family experience, and even chatted with the owners while they were on holiday. The wine is made by masters in the field, and tastes that way.

We visited the Cantina Berioli for a wine degustation. We loved Irene passion presenting the wines and enjoyed them very much. Also bruschetta and other local products were very tasty!

Been here just yesterday and I really enjoyed every little piece of information Irene(sommelier) told us. Her English was pretty good seen how remote they we're located. We did the entire package. At first she let us see the vineyard and was Very passionate about everything she said. When we went inside for the tasting then was when the party started(in your mouth).
Because it's a "smaller" winery everything was personal. I couldn't recommend it more. Very Nice experience.

Also we bought almost all the wines & let them send it home.

This is the first time I’ve left a google review but i felt compelled to - what a fantastic evening! €20 for a delicious wine tasting experience and vineyard tour including 7 beautiful glasses of wine and a delicious local meat and cheese board. The desert wine was a particular highlight, but it was all top notch. They also produce their own olive oil which is a wonderful accompaniment. The owner and sommelier were a delight, so friendly and informative, and the resident vineyard cat was a mischevious but cute bonus. My only complaint is that they were so generous that I’m a bit drunk at time of writing! An absolute must see if you’re in the area.

We can highly recommend this winetasting and the really good wines from this vineyard. We bought 4 different wines from them to enjoy at home. Irene was an amazing hostess and was really professional and serviceminded, one of the best winetasting in Umbria. Just so happy that we found them :)

Such a wonderful place! We were welcomed by two lovely ladies (one of the owners, I suppose, and the sommelier) who made us feel home. The sommelier was extremely skilful and talented and she explained to us the wines' scents and flavours without ever being boring nor trivial. We bought some bottles and will probably buy some more in the future (they offer international shipment).
What more to say? I highly recommend the red wines, especially the merlot riserva.

Lovely place. Very cozy family feel. Very sweet hostess and owner was near by. We stayed and tried all 7 wines and had a cheese plate as well. It was a lovely experience and chatted with some friendly guests as well. A very enjoyable experience and not expensive at all. Very much worth it!

Cantina Berioli is a small scale, family owned winery. Together with three friends, I did a wine tasting and tour around the vineyards of Berioli. Our host was a very friendly woman, who took all the time in the world for us, eventhough we came in around closing time (we only figured that out afterwards). The tour was very personal and not studied in advance. You can ask all the questions you like and determine for yourself what you want to see and what not. The tasting was only 5 euros, and with food it is only 10 (tour included!). The wine was not the best (but surely also not bad), but the experience is really awesome!

Our favourite vineyard we visited during our time in Umbria and Tuscany and believe me, we visited a lot. Nice and small but a surprisingly large aelecsele of wines with my favourite being the Spiridione Reserva (Merlot).
