La Casa del Pomodoro - Bistrot

Here we started tasting Sicily and it was a fantastic place to discover it. Good quality, fast & freshly served house made Sicilian dishess. We also did some shopping. The story of this place started in Tripoli and all the flavours from both sides of the Mediteranean Sea mingled in our mouth. Give it a try, you wont regret it!

Fabulous place.

We eat arancini and pasta. A simple lunch but the flavours were fabulous, the place was lovely, and the air conditioned interior provided a welcome respite from the Sicilian heat in July.

We have eaten more expensive meals in Sicily but this has been the best so far, a great little find. Looked like a nice selection of wine too.

Good food at reasonable prices. Many local and high quality products are sold there. We had Parmigiana and a Panini with pepper, vegetables and cheese. The staff is very friendly. Recommended!

Cute little shop/restaurant in the heart of Marzamemi. We only had few dishes to take away and we regret not having had dinner there. Their parmigiana di melanzane was incredible and the cassatina was the best -I had cassata in other restaurant but I could not find another one better that this one- In the shop they sell lots of high quality sicilian products. The staff is very polite and friendly and when we will be back in Sicily, we will visit them again.

Enjoyed it so much on Monday, we came back on Tuesday! Original and tasty menu based on local produce. Highly recommended.

The freshest local produce! We got tomatoes and other seasonal fruits here— just phenomenal. Viviana was super helpful and a pleasure to speak with. Ended up having lunch here, plenty of vegetarian options.

Very unexpected place to grab dinner, but their food is truly amazing. The fried veggies and sweet potatoes were a huge portion, so we had to cancel one of the two pastas we ordered, but that was no problem for the very friendly staff. It is also fun to have dinner at a specialty store for Italian food. Good prices, great quality - highly recommended!

What a lovely place,

If you travel to Marzamemi you have to stop at Casa del Pomodoro.

We eat Pinsa and fried veggies for a simple dinner and it was delicious. We enjoyed so much our stay there as this has been the best so far.

Imaginative menu and sensible prices. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Stopped for arancini and Sicilian cold beer to eat on a balcony, and both were simply sublime. Good food, a wonderful selection of local produce (we've shopped there before), helpful staff and a location in quiet, characterful, Marzamemi. It's very much worth a visit.

More than a shop, this is a great place to have a tasty bite of Sicilian specialties. Arancini, Pane Cunzato, Pinse ... All with the best tomatoes around. Great choice of local beer too!
A shame we don't live here or we'd be back very very often 😉

Hidden gem with lovely food and great service. We went here 2 days in a row and will be back for a third time. Everything we tried was amazing !!
