Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa

We had an amazing time! The hotel is older but was completely renovated recently. Our room and the hotel in herbal is very clean and very well kept. It is a more family oriented resort with a quiet night life which was perfect for us! We had a room overlooking the golf course to the west, a stunning view. The hotel is on the smaller side which makes it very easy to get around. We never had any trouble finding a place to sit at the pool, the water park or the beach. Food was good. Drinks were plentiful. Loved the coffee shop, my teenage son’s favourite spot as they serve ice cream from 1pm to 9:30pm.
Hilton is at the top of our list of places to return to!

Loved staying here, you can tell it's an older property as seen in the rooms (which I'll describe below), but overall the resort is on the smaller side and we had no problems finding beach or poolside chairs. The water park had no lines for the slide and the poolside bar, we never had a lot of people congregating around it. You'll get a gift even as a silver member! The food is generally the same, but really good.
If you're looking for a 3 Michelin star restaurant here, you're not gonna find it here as other reviewers complained about food. Bring your own sunscreen! If you forget anything, they do have a gift shop, but the prices are 5x more expensive than if you got it on Amazon.

Overall, I'd return here! They always have great music and shows every night and the staff are really nice and helpful!

Honestly after reading a few negative recent reviews, I was regretting booking this holiday. But we had an absolute wonderful 10 days here. I requested the room to be on the Golf course facing side as we had a young baby with us. I'm so pleased we did! It was so much more peaceful compared to the rooms facing the pools/bar etc. Plus the lifts on this wing were much more efficient than the other side. The caring and friendly staff made this trip so special for us. Loved the facilities too, great choices between the main pool, lazy river/swim up bar and the beaches. The Cafe was perfect for good coffee and if you wanted extra treats (open 06:30-21:30) and part of the All Inclusive board. So many choices of places to eat throughout the hotel complex ensured we were able to vary our food experiences every day. (Highly recommend the Saturday evening Jamaican buffet night on the beach). The room we had was ideal for the three of us. Lovely bathroom, enormous comfortable bed and a balcony with lovely views of the golf course and sea. Unfortunately the cot/crib we were supplied was unusable for us, as way too large and unable to reach the mattress safely over the fixed sides. I highly recommend the all-inclusive package of this hotel and we will definitely be returning.

Overall we had a great time at the Hilton. It's an older hotel turned into a resort so there's some signs of its age (some rooms need updating) but all the public areas have been renovated and are well appointed. The food was excellent, the pool was clean and the lazy river was a big hit with the kids (and many adults). The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The beach was kept clean and not much seaweed during our stay. The resort is located 15-20 minutes from the airport which is great.

We loved this resort. For reference my boyfriend and I (both in our 20s) had an amazing time and it exceeded our expectations. I saw some reviews that made me a little nervous but we experienced nothing but positives. The best thing I’d say is how beautiful the property is. Nothing but beautiful views everywhere you are. I saw reviews saying the beach was underwhelming, I do not agree. It was plenty large enough, always enough beach chairs, never packed and plenty of space to lounge and swim. The only thing I agree with is the food was just alright. Our favorite restaurant was the Seaside Italian and the 3 Palms. Everything else was just okay. We had an amazing trip. The service was amazing, hotel was amazing, couldn’t have wanted anything more.

10/10 resort! We just got back from a 7 day stay at the Hilton. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned well. They could use a tiny bit of updating but honestly, they were great as they were. Food and staff were excellent. The evening entertainment was top notch! 👌 I have no complaints about this resort and highly recommend to my friends and family.

We just returned from a two week vacation here at the Hilton Rose Hall. Overall I wound say our experience was certainly positive.
The friendly service….clean and well maintained rooms as well as excellent food made our stay enjoyable.
We were there for the Super Bowl as well as Valentine’s Day. We enjoyed the special occasions on the beach with the game and a special Valentine’s Dinner on the beach.
A special thank you to Joyce who was special server at the pool as well as the special events. She was so friendly and certainly took care of us with her exceptional service.
We would certainly recommend this resort to friends and family.

Excellent vacation spot with beautiful views of: beach, resort grounds and of the Caribbean Sea. So much fun in the lazy river and on the water slides. Food was great with much to choose from. Staff are wonderful throughout the resort. Rooms are cleaned well. Only constructive feedback - rooms are as mentioned dated but any room view I would say is likely to make you forget about it. Also ...you are there for the joys of vacation on the resort outside the hotel room. Coffee shop is picturesque and great coffee and treats inside. We will return.

This was a wonderful experience for me and my family. I have a large family so I had to book a suite and a room. Although it was expensive, it was fun, entertaining, and welcoming. The staff was courteous and helpful. The food was plentiful and the drinks were plentiful. The 24 hour room service was complimentary (all inclusive).

Please do not go.... Because you will never want to leave. my 2 year old son JP had such a blast!! between eating all day, non stop drinks. beautiful pool & Beach aint nothing much you could really ask for. Awesome staff. We went for my Wife Birthday & She said It was her best birthday ever. Thanks Hilton Rose again for the hospitality. Only thing i would change is your reservation policies. You should be able to request them at least a week or 2 in advance. Also a better buffet dinner selection would be nice. Breakfast is awesome though

Perfect holiday resort for a romantic getaway or fun vacation with the family. Rooms are good and very clean, the resort is huge with an endless amount of fresh food & drink choices, cocktails are awesome and the staff are all extremely pleasant. If you’re travelling to Jamaica don’t stay anywhere else!

We had a fantastic five-night stay at the Hilton Montego Bay. The grounds are immaculately kept. Activities are well-planned and readily available. The beach is smaller than at some resorts. You feel secluded here. It's just off the main road, but you never hear the outside world. The food options are good. I would like to see more variety and better food at the sit-down dining restaurants on the property. Unfortunately, a good bit of the buffet selections are also on the menu at the reservations required places. There were more kids than we expected at the hotel during our stay. Overall, we had a very good stay and we plan to come back.

I read a lot of reviews before I stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall and was honestly a little nervous because of them as I have high standards. I didn’t need to be as our vacation was so wonderful!! The rooms are very clean and comfortable and our bathroom had an incredible shower with great pressure. I slept so well every night! Housekeeping was very good.

The food was delicious everywhere - best I have had a an AI, especially the Caribbean food. Their patties are incredible. We rented cabanas every day which was a really nice upgrade if you can do it, we enjoyed them all but the beach was our favourite. Staff and service was also top level!

If the resort wanted to invest in any area - the hall carpets are due for an upgrade (but this is probably where you spend the least amount of time) and they could upgrade the chairs/tables at the outdoor part of the buffet so they all match. Those are seriously the only things that I can think of which are both incredibly minor and didn’t impact our vacation one bit!

Wow, such friendly, helpful staff here. Montego Bay views are awesome at this resort! Two beaches, huge pool, fun floating lazy river, fantastic restaurants and food with many choices, even a wonderful catamaran sail experience. All inclusive with excellent home-country Jamaican coffee and rum. We're heading back next winter for a great time and warm weather break. The golf course next to the resort has a beautiful layout too! Jerry and Teresa

It was our first time in Jamaica and we had a wonderful time at this resort!

The moment you walk in, you're greeted with friendly staff that serve you welcome drinks and even helped us check-in earlier as we were traveling with our baby. We had an extremely long 3 hour wait at customs coming from the airport so this was super nice!

The resort was clean and the rooms were spacious. They had a few restaurants and they had different varieties of cuisines at the buffet everyday. They had a coffee shop with a selection of drinks, pastries, cakes and beef patties - we couldn't resist and came here everyday for their delicious frappucinos and cakes! They also had a jerk chicken stand by the beach and it was delicious!

They had 2 beautiful beaches that were well maintained every morning. The best part is their lazy river that my baby would not get out of everyday because of how much fun it was. We were hoping for more family friendly activities but regardless, we had the best family vacation here and I highly recommend this resort!

I love love love everything about this resort!! I was a bit nervous when I read the reviews prior to my stay. I’m glad I decided to keep my family’s reservations. Top notch in everything. The room was extremely clean and service was excellent. The daily/nightly entertainment was perfect! It’s a beautiful resort and very inviting. The large pool where you can swim and relax poolside, and see and enjoy the Caribbean Sea is so beautiful. The only thing I can think to recommend and I hope is adopted for future guests, is to install cleansing stations where the daily buffet is located. I’m glad I brought hand wipes with me. Too many hands touching the same handles when getting food. The restrooms are so far away. By time I got back from washing my hands, my food was cold. Too many germs not to have something guests can use to clean their hands is a health concern, in my opinion. Otherwise, I highly recommend this resort. Will be back!!!

I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. I lost my phone, got returned; then I forgot my laptop, and they immediately got it to me at the airport before my flight took off. In addition, the services 2nd to NONE!! Excellent throughout my entire stay. Also, the entertain was top shelf, and they spared no expense providing tremendous talents to entertain the guest. And did I mention how good food was from the buffet to the various restaurants. Hilton Rose did not disappoint.

This place was amazing. The staff was friendly. Only complaint I have is that they wouldn't add my hilton honors number. They said it would change the rate to put my number. I've never heard that before.

Other than that, all was great. Great food, a lot of activities.
Preston in bell service was super helpful when I lost my phone.
Venesha at the bar by the front desk made the best drinks. I'm so sad I couldn't stay.

Yes the rooms need updating...but if you plan on enjoying this resort that won't matter. Very friendly staff, amazing food, beautiful resort, great shows and lots to do. My only complaint is the house wine and having to pay 5x more for a decent bottle.

The entire team there was great. Service was amazing and people were so nice. The bartenders made sure that you liked your drinks or would make you a new one. Leoneil was my favorite but have to give a shot out to Jermaine and Ricardo. Mrs Ingrid was also amazing and helped out with our travel issues going above and beyond. Would recommend to everyone.
