River Rapids Jamaica

An absolute great experience, we were on a cruise and all excursions through the ship were for 5 and older, we found this online and communication was great and answered all questions quickly.

Our group ranged from age 4 to 78, once we arrived, we meet our guide Pelican, he was great! We were given life jackets and helmets and taken on a walk to the water fall. The path to the waterfall was a bit too much for my parents but Pelican made sure they were good while we checked out the fall.

Next we got on the river and it was a perfect mix of rapids and relaxing.

The time at the beach at the end of the trip is really dictated by your group.

Overall great experience and would do again if we ever come back.

My wife and I were on a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line and had booked an excursion to The Bamboo Beach Club with aqua tubing. The tubing portion of this was with River Rapids Jamaica. I HIGHLY recommend this company. Our River guide Dwayne Edwards was FANTASTIC. Very personable and fun. We enjoyed the float and the group we were with. Dwayne does such a great job of keeping the group out of the trees and grass and was very entertaining.

It was the best experience! I had so much fun. The tour was pretty long and soothing. My favorite part was jumping from the bridge and also the ripples while tubing along the river. 10/10 experience. I think everyone should experience it.

I had a great experience with our group of 8 today! They were kind, and our guide Dave Young was very fun! We set out in single tubes then switched to a large raft half way through to finish the excursion going into the ocean. The river water was so clean you could theoretically drink it too which was lovely. Highly recommend this!!

The experience was one that everyone should have. The river was beautiful it was ruff and winding at points and lazy and calm in others. The beauty of the area is what sells it tho and your guide enhances the whole experience, everyone should visit.

Amazing excursion! Surpassed all my expectations. It offers perfect balance of enjoying nature coupled with adrenaline rush and thrill. Expect to spend at least several hours on the river as there are few activities like visiting small waterfall or jumping into the river. Also you will be changing tubing into raft which was very cool experience. All staff is very professional. We love our personal guide who skillfully navigated tubing along the river.

Went here for a friend’s birthday, Such a great experience, 10/10 tour guides and they are so informative and patient! Love it here I hope to return soon! My friends and I Absolutely loved every minute. Just book your appointment in advance and walk with a waterproof phone case so you can take your phone when the tubing starts

Place is cool and nice. CALL IN AND BOOK APPOINTMENT FIRST TO MAKE IT EASIER. You arrive at the beach then get transported over in a Voxy (or van back). Then you get ur floating devices and life jacket and walk about five minutes to the falls where you wash off and take pics then go down the river. Was very relaxing and nice. Would go again 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

River Rapids was an amazing experience. Staff was very respectful and gave amazing customer service. Our guide Andre made our girls trip an exciting one. Tour started with a 10-15minute walk to a waterfall then we tubed down the river and made a stop where we could jump off a short bridge. Andre made sure we were safe and he was very patient! The location was easy to find as well. Definitely worth the trip and would return again.

Had so much fun with our tour guide here. We started hanging out at the waterfall area, then tubed through the river (so fun!), ended the 1h30 ride by rafting on an inflatable boat to the beach where the water was so warm.

We got some great pictures and had an amazing experience there.

Beware, the road up to the attraction front desk is one-way and pretty small. 2 cars can pass by each other but it's really tight.

We had the best time tubing and rafting! 💯 will recommend it to All- swimmers/non swimmers, young- young at heart to old and grumpy!! All will have a great time!!!

Much overlooked but truly a place to go for anyone seeking relaxation with a bit of adventure. There were no car machines but we brought cash . We were strapped with helmets and a life jacket. The first adventure was going to the waterfall. Ensure to bring comfortable shoes. Then we used our donut shaped floater to go along the Rio Bueno as a team. Looking up was breathtaking. The river had a few rough patches that created a bit of splash . Then we jumped off the pier (me multiple times ;)) and then we kayaked it from the rest of the river to Bengal Beach. That involved some serious teamwork but it was fun with our tour guide Ben. We then ended the trip with food (hot dogs). It is a truly fun adventure for groups . I would definitely recommend.

The place was amazing. We went on a small
Hike up the Rio Bueno River to where JPS has their Hydroelectric dam and went along the river towards where it meets the sea. Overall pretty fun as there was river tubing and kayaking.

I had a really good time here. We did our tour with Mark and enjoyed every bit of it. The whole team is very customer centric, no questions asked I would definitely return.

We had a great time at River Rapids Jamaica! We went tubing and rafting then ended at a beautiful beach. Captain Jack was a terrific tour guide!!! He shared so many awesome facts about the area, plants, resources and community. He manouvered us down the river with such ease. Before booking, the River Rapids team responded to my questions very quickly. Lastly, making a reservation was simple.

I visited River Rapids with my family and we had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide was excellent. The place was beautiful. We arrived and a tour guide met us in the parking lot. We paid (cash only) and was immediately suited up with a life vest and helmet. We took a brief hike up to a waterfall area. We swam and took some pics. (It's good to have your phone in a waterproof case to capture some epic moments). Then it was time for river tubing. It was a very scenic journey down the river. We then switched to paddle boats that enabled us to journey to the private beach , which was our final stop. We spent a few hours at the beach. 10/10 recommended. We were super hungry but they only have patties and snacks for sale so please keep this in mind.

Greaaaaat experience, call and book but it wasn't necessary but for the process to be easier and seamless. There was no wait time just make your payment, place in your gears, instructions on safety...and total enjoyment....A must visit, I would do it again. FUN!FUN!FUN! My family and I enjoyed it
