La Vista Hotel

Amazing location, literally next to the chairlift. Rooms are clean and spacious. Toilet space is good even though it might be tiny for some. Simple and great breakfast. Overall super comfortable stay.

Fantastic experience staying here, nice family run business everything is well maintained and staff were extremely nice rooms were fantastic. The location was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were attentive and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a wonderful and enjoyable stay.

Incredible place situated right to the slopes, a ski in and ski out hotel with amazing Chinese cuisine and comfortable and warm japanese style rooms. Onsen for the guests on the top floor is a great addition to this hotel. Can't reccomend it enough, amazing value for money

This was the most comfortable stay I've had on my trip this year. The room is clean and tidy, and the Chinese food provided is also delicious. I love it

Staff was extremely friendly and kind, prime location right in front of the ski lift and a minute walk from the Tsugaike gondola, Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The room my husband and I stayed had more than enough space for our luggage (one large suitcase and two big backpacks full of ski clothes, boots, etc) and for us to sleep comfortably. The room is Japanese style, the kind that we sleep on the floor (tatami) but the mattresses were nice comfortable and thick, much better than in many expensive Japanese ryokans we've stayed. The heater works great and our room was nice and warm in no time. Hot water works perfectly in the shower and the both of us enjoyed nice, hot showers after every full day we spent skiing. The bed sheets,comforter and towels are all very nice and clean, and the pillows were awesome. And the view from our window, facing the Nagano Alps was breathtaking.
We were already really happy with our choice of hotel for this trip to Hakuba, but we hadn't yet had dinner in the hotel's restaurant (the hotel has a Chinese cuisine restaurant on premises). We are convinced this is by very far the best Chinese food we've had in Japan. It was absolutely delicious. We were so busy enjoying our dinner that we forgot to take photos of it. We had lamb skewers, lamb on naan and my husband had a pork meal. It was fantastic.
We recommend La Vista Hotel to anyone thinking of staying right in front of Tsugaike Ski Resort in Hakuba, wants a hotel with an unbeatable price, simple but with extremely friendly, kind staff and delicious food. JUST PERFECT.

Just like the other comments, very very helpful, closet chairlift is 50 metres away.
I will definitely go back here again.

I will give this hotel 5stars even though it has things to improve.
Location: ski in ski out. No need to walk / neither shuttle bus to the ski gondola or lift. It located just right in front of the ski lift and gondola. We took the shuttle bus from happo bus station then walk 100 meters to the hotel. What a convenience.
Staff: super helpful. Chinese own and staff. We don’t have any communication issue. They help us to buy the ski lift ticket with the steal price. Thank you.
Tatami room style which we love more than the modern bedroom
Things to improve:
The bathroom is pretty small, no wash-let, no bathtub.
The cleanliness could be better.
To conclusion:
Nothing is perfect, it match our expectations for ski in ski out. Private room and private toilet, shower. Other things we don’t mind.
If your expectations are higher then pls consider.

Absolutely love the staff, very friendly, things are very clean and nice. Basically is a ski-in / ski-out hotel. A decent sized futon room with a small bathroom (which I find it common in a lot of places in Japan). There's a ski and snowboard store area, as well as on site laundry. There's also a restaurant on the first floor that's very nice. There's a convenience store behind the street and close to the gondola and shuttle bus. Highly recommended!

Awesome place right by the ski lift! they provided us with discount for ski and snowboard equipment! Fe is so sweet and accommodating! Had a great stay! 😁

The staff are incredibly friendly and the lift is right out the front door. We enjoyed learning an Italian card game from the bar staff. I’m also very grateful for delicious Chinese vegetarian food at the restaurant.

Food was absolutely delicious, and very affordable! Waiting staff were very friendly and hospitable.

スキーゴンドラに近くて、スタッフの方々（外国人でした）がとってもフレンドリーです！
スタッフも、お客さんも外国の方が多く、なんだか海外旅行に来た気分になりました。
駐車場は少し歩かないといけませんが、その分スキー場にめっちゃ近いので、そこは仕方ないかな。
スキーイン、スキーアウトできます。
昼食は本場の中国料理が食べられます。

超級好的地點，就在雪道旁！從飯店走到lift不到30秒
飯店一樓有一間餐廳，每次進門就能問到香味，主要提羊肉串等等中式料理，有機會一定要來品嚐！
飯店的服務人員也都很友善～下次再來梅池會再來住的！

古い建物ですが、綺麗に掃除できていると思います。
駐車場の位置がわからず、到着が遅かったですが、スタッフが親切に案内、対応してくれました。
食べ放題の朝食もうまいし、期間限定の中華料理も美味しいです。
ゲレンデのすぐ横にありますので、食べる寝る滑るだけの三日間でした。楽しかったです。
今度また来ます。

ゲレンデの真横のお宿です。宿泊翌日には扉を出てそのまま滑ることができます。
大浴場、夕食、朝食もあります。
(部屋のシャワーは狭いので使わず)

オーナー、従業員のみなさんがとても親切でした。
夕食の時間を過ぎていたのにも関わらず、私達のために特別メニューをだしてくださいました。
また、スキー場でケガをした際にも痛み止めをくださったり、病院までのタクシーの手配までしてくださりました。

ぜひまたお世話になりたいです！
