Motobu Genki Village

Kids had a great experience with dolphins! There was a pre-session orientation and it was well conducted to ensure kids feel safe around the dolphins and do and don'ts of the experience.

Dolphin encounter and swimming with them is one of the most magical thing that happened to me in my life. 🥺

First, we had orientation about the history of dolphins and more details about them. After the orientation, we can start to play, feed and swim with them. The staff are amazing and kind too! One staff even spoke English to me since I’m not good in Japanese.

I recommend going here when you visit Churaumi Aquarium. It’s just 3km away. A must try indeed! ✨

We had our dolphin excursion for a family of 6 people 5/6/23 at 1400, it was well organized and sooooo much fun!!! Our dolphin instructor (I’m so sorry I forgot your name) was incredibly kind and patient! She mentioned she did not speak good English but she spoke English Very GOOD and we understood all the instructions and commands needed to help us enjoy our time! My 6yo boy loves this place. There are a lot of free activities as well as ones you can book and pay for. Kids love doing the work experience activities and getting some part for it in the form of bothers to use at the shop.

The cultural center across the road is also great for making and painting things.

You can book activities in advance over the phone.

It was a rare treat for our family too be able to interact with the dolphins. My grandchildren loved the experience of touching and feeding both the dolphins and turtles.

The weather was not so good when I and my wife did a dolphin swim activity, but it was an amazing experience, mainly because the staff is very kindly, so I can only strong recommend.

It's a pity that only a few families come. We've been there the second time and I don't know if it's because of the pandemic (or we are traveling off-season though the hotels are all fully booked), but the place (including the restaurant) always looked a liitle "sabishii". I just imagine how much more fun it could be for the kids if there were more around.
But it's an excellent place to learn about dolphins, touch them, play with them, and even more (trampoline, table tennis, badminton, kids pool, swing, etc.).

An excellent experience for royal dolphin swim programme. Instructors were very humorous and nice with clear explanation and instructions during the interaction with dolphins. Changing and bathing room was clean and tidy. Towels, shampoo and liquid soap were provided. There were many big sea fish and 3 turtles in the pool behind the entrance. Two goats were kept. Canoe and sea game area were large. Would visit again.

We loved the experienced! Yoshimi was excellent, her English was good to the point my 5 yrs nephew can answered her quiz and won 7 ice cream vouchers!

The turtle feeding tour was pretty good, but the dolphin feeding was out favourite. Have to mention was our first time as a family so we were extra excited!

Great time with a group of 4 on a Saturday. Spoke English for our group. Did the dolphin encounter.

Unforgettable experience though a little bit price for the dolphin encounter. Already my second time there.

There is a program that allows you to swim with the dolphin. Too bad we went in the winter time that the water is too cold with strong wind.

Nice English speaking staff. Nice deal with hotel package. My 2 years old boy loves it. Will come back again.
