Great location, easy access to airport and key areas in Osaka via the train/subway. The rooms are huge by Japan city standards. Loved the small details in the design of the hotel, everything has the guest experience in mind. The free beer and takoyaki at night are a bonus, and a great way to end the day. Laundry machines were plentiful (400yen per run). Same cost for dryer.

Will definitely be back again.

Love the place. The room is tatami and clean, the staffs are friendly and very helpful and there are free snacks, soda and beer you could enjoy until 10pm. The lounge and yard are very spacious and comfortable. Location is Very near to JR and subway, and walking distance to Shinsekai.

Simply a great hotel for families in Osaka. They have some very large rooms available that are very family friendly, everything is new and modern but has a nice touch of classical Japanese style as well.

Service was fine, we enjoyed the free takoyaki and drinks each night in the garden and there was a good atmosphere. The light show they have was also neat.

Location is okay, it's right next to shinsakei but the area is noticeably more dirty then most other areas we've been to. The hotel is also next to the so-called slums of Osaka but we never felt unsafe walking around at night and isn't run down like other more downtrodden areas in North American cities.

The hotel is also located right next to Sbin-Imimaya station with access to multiple train lines including Osaka Metro, and is a short train ride away from many key destinations in Osaka.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience and an easy choice to recommend for families looking for a place to stay in Osaka.

Room is spacious and comfortable, pillow are soft. Near a subway station. Super convenient, with a cafe and bar inside. No worries for breakfast. Free flow takoyaki, juice and beer at night. Great if you are with children. Stay here for USJ

Overall the cleaningness is good, and definitely a plus for the self-service locker, activities/ tour guide info provided to the guest.

For family booking, please take extra attention on the breakfast included in your package or not. On my experience, i booked the family room for 4 (2 adult+ 2 kids), but inclusive breakfast for free only covered for 2 adults, further statements/ terms mension the hotel may got the right to charge for breakfast on child. BTW, the breakfast is quite nice if you wanna to have Japanese style instead of international style.

Also public bath is the paid service here.

It was only an overnight stay but we were impressed by the beautiful Japanese style rooms with tatami mats... We had 3 rooms and every room was different in its decor. Simplicity and practicality. Nightly drinks and food was also a bonus and most importantly such a great place to stay for last minute shopping and train convenience to the airport

Bottom line up front: I’m not a hotel rating pro but I’ll give the OMO7 Hotel in Osaka 4.5 out of 5. This rating isn’t an option on these reviews so I’ll give the hotel the benefit of a 5 star rating. Best: The suite was awesomely huge with four individual full size beds and the two oversized, padded bench seats at the large table are made to comfortably sleep a 180cm person like myself. You could sleep six people in this room without issue. This is a great hotel for families and the suite is great for large families. Worst: The onsen is not included in the stay. It is ¥1000 per person per day. Given the fact that we (me and my two kids) spend 25 minutes in the facility split between washing and sitting in the onsen (the kids only last seven minutes in the hot water but they “love it”), the cost of the onsen for a family of four isn’t worth it compared to other hotels with the onsen included. With that said, we did the onsen three times in five nights because again, the kids “love it.” Thus, I acknowledge that my words don’t match my actions. I would have like the typical hotel fitness center, but I’ll live and many Japanese hotels do not have a fitness center and that’s okay. Location: 5-10 min walk to multiple JR lines or subway. Grounds: very nice and modern with a spacious outdoor garden with plenty of seating, room for the kids to run around, and greenery to contrast the city setting. Building: modern decor with large open spaces and plenty of natural light, and seating in the lobby. Four fast elevators to get you to your quarters. Each floor has a vending machine with drinks and ice and water machines. However, the ice machine on our floor worked 80 percent of the time. I don’t know why and I didn’t ask. I just went to another floor. Services: For those who don’t know, service in Japan is, in my limited world traveling experience, the gold standard. The OMO7 is no exception. Dining: The cafe in the lobby serves coffee, snacks, and pastries for much of the day. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet starting at 0700 featuring Japanese cuisine along with pastries, a variety of juices, and two fancy coffee machines that can make the drink of your choice. I don’t know if it is worth the ¥2500 per adult but it’s food, it’s fast, and it’s convenient if you’re trying to get out of the hotel quickly in the morning. Lounge wear: the hotel provides lounge wear (what I would call semi-traditional robes with an obi to tie it off) of various sizes. The lounge wear and house shoes alone (you know what I’m talking about) are fantastic for going to and from the onsen and it was great. You know the saying, when in Rome. Many people wore the lounge wear while lounging in the hotel lobby (who knew), in the outdoor area or to meals. Rooms: the room has a tiny fridge good for a day’s worth of food and drink. The bathroom has two sinks and a large counter for all the bathroom requirements. It comes with a kettle for heating water and free pour over coffee and a package of pineapple candy that I ate in one sitting (don’t judge me; I’m on vacation). One odd thing is the toilet is on the opposite side of the room from the sink and has an auto light that activates when the door is opened and cannot be turned off at night. Still, it didn’t wake my kids because they were exhausted from partying all day. Bottom line: I would gladly stay here again and I will recommend it to anyone traveling to Osaka. pay the money and stay at this hotel.

Another of Hoshino Resorts OMO branded properties. Delightful welcoming staff to assist with the highly automated checkin formalities (you can be retro and do it the old-fashioned way!). Room soundproofing is phenomenal- the silence is literally deafening. Decor is upscale Muji with high-quality finishes which makes the value for money here all the better. Beautifully minimal layout on main floor with library, shop, cafe/bar and lots of lounging space looking out on a large urban garden from which in the evenings you can watch the LED fireworks on the hotel’s facade!

Hotel is right in front of Shin-Immamiya Station. This station is connected to both JR and Nankai train operators. Easy one-way connect to Kansai airport. 1 to 2 stations away from major shopping destinations and along the Osaka Loop-line. I booked USJ studio pass on arrival and also the free 2-way shuttle-bus service. The staff here are vibrant and helpful. In case you don't read the guest info slip in your room, be aware to check the breakfast buffet queue situation every morning before coming down. A booking system is activated when the queue is long, this happened on a Sunday and I'm glad I booked, and the queue moves fast too. Rooms are bright, cosy and spacious, no shoes allowed in the room. Everything looks new and clean. Yukata's can be worn within the hotel compound, "outdoor" slippers provided too. I love the calm and spacious outdoor the most, just enjoy the peace, breeze, flowers watching trains wheezing by.

We stayed at Omo 7 for 2 nights and found the facilities to be superb. The roo. Was well appointed with a fantastic view of Osaka. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bath house was an extra treat after long days sent out and about. I would certainly recommend OMO7 resort to others seeking accommodation in Osaka

Hoshino Resorts has a knack for crafting hotels that are experiences in their own right, and the OMO7 Osaka is no exception. This hotel manages to capture the pulsing energy and beauty of Osaka in a way that’s both innovative and inviting, making it really feel like the perfect place to return home to without missing a beat of Osaka.

The design of OMO7 is absolutely standout, brilliantly marrying form and function with its focused windows that frame the bustling cityscape like art. The windows aren't floor-to-ceiling, but rather elongated panoramic viewing slits that focus the cityscape into your room. In my honest opinion, in this specific setting, I actually very much preferred these to the typical floor-to-ceiling alternative.

I also particularly loved the happy hour. The hotel invites the city in through its spacious and excellently curated garden area. There are a few food and drinks stalls that bring the best of Osaka's street food culture right to your doorstep. It’s a cozy, fun gathering spot where guests can snack and sip under the open sky.

Then there’s the light show - a really cool spectacle that transforms the hotel’s exterior into a canvas of vibrant colors and patterns each night. Watching this with some traditional Osaka style foods and beer in hand is pretty much a perfect cap to the night.

As for location, I personally loved how the hotel was positioned in a more residential area of the city without being too far removed from more touristy areas. While I love the hustle and bustle of Namba/Dotonbori area, after a visit or two, I love to explore more local parts of the city. Bonus points for being right next to MEGA Donki.

Yukatas are included and there is also a bathhouse on property that I didn't have a chance to explore (but it looked pretty cool from the outside).

If you're searching for a homey place to lay your head within a massive, beautifully crafted hotel, then this would easily be on the top of my list.

There is public bath in 2nd floor (lobby) the room although it has a big area, it waste so much space so the big area feel so cramped. The downside of the triple room that has sofa bed, we must construct it by ourselves lol

During my recent stay at Omo7 Resort Osaka, which took place from 26th December 2023 to 30th December 2023, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the resort surpassed all of my expectations. The experience provided by the resort was truly exceptional, thanks to its breathtaking surroundings and impressive range of amenities.

One of the standout features of my stay was the provision of complimentary unlimited beer and drinks at the park (During Evening). Being able to indulge in beverages while enjoying the serene atmosphere of the resort was an absolute delight. Additionally, the availability of snacks further enhanced the overall experience, adding an extra touch of convenience and enjoyment.

Additionally, the proximity to the train station and markets made it very convenient for transportation and shopping.

The staff at Omo7 Resort Osaka deserve special recognition for their outstanding hospitality. Throughout my stay, they consistently exhibited warmth and professionalism, going above and beyond to ensure that I felt valued and well taken care of. Their exceptional level of service undoubtedly contributed to the overall excellence of my experience at the resort.

We loved our stay at OMO7, I read some mixed reviews on this hotel but I really liked what I saw in the photos so thought we'd give it a go and we were not disappointed. Sure, it's a bit further out than the main hotel area but this was not an issue as it was so close to the train station, we also used their bus service to get to USJ. As an Aussie this seemed to be more of a modern take on Japanese living, Beds on the floor yet so comfy, no shoes allowed in the hotel rooms and lounge wear/robes provided at check in and encouraged to be worn around the hotel the clog/croc type shoes. Funky artwork and bold colour choices this was in no way boring. Recently built everything was new and clean. As a family of 4 we booked an Idobata Suite which had plenty of space for us. I wish we had more time to enjoy the grounds and the onsen. I would recommend staying here and would stay here again.
