Ramen Danbo Nago

Great tasting ramen place as you come off the main road. No frills. Basic restaurant lay out. But the taste of the ramen noodle and soup makes the journey worth it. Can choose thickness and texture of noodles also which adds to the quality of the place. Basic joint but great quality. Well worth it!

Few times in my life have I been hungry and as satisfied as I was when I was done eating here.
I typically spend about ¥1200 when I eat here because in addition to the miso ramen, I get an extra bowl of rise/meat/egg, the fried dumplings, extra noodles, and beer as a reference.

Most delicious ramen in Okinawa and pretty chefs! We pressed the wrong ticket and they are very helpful!

On our way back from Kouri Island , had to stop at Ramen Dambo for their ramen. Luckily we called and sort off them our group of 7 is coming. With their limited English, we can still get seated. Very popular ramen restaurant, had car park right in front. Defintely high

No queue and delicious ramen. We stopped for dinner here just before 6 and able to order right away. Delicious tonkotsu ramen and gyoza. Easy enough to order despite us not knowing Japanese. The staff are lovely and patient. Highly recommend

First, let the service staff know how many people to seat. Ordering and payment is done through a machine as you wait for your seat to be readied. Pay through the machine and collect your order coupons. The service staff will pass you a pen to indicate your preferences for your ramen. You can select thin/thick noodles, hardness of noodles, thickness of soup, green onions or none, which ingredients you’d like to omit, etc. Add-ons are available through the ordering machine.

Once you are seated, the service staff will collect your ordering coupons and serve you your ramen accordingly. Service was quick and efficient.

I loved the negigoma ramen with thin noodles. All ramen are made using tonkotsu broth and the branch is said to be from Fukuoka.

Parking is available at the restaurant.

My friend and I stopped in after exploring the Nago Castle park. We had worked up an appetite and both love ramen so we were very excited. There were a lot of good reviews and this place definitely did not disappoint! We really loved this place because you could customize your ramen to your specific liking. You could choose the broth, thickness and firmness of the noodles, as well as the spice level. There were choices if extra green onions, meat, noodles and egg. The staff were friendly and helped us choose our spice level which was from 1-20! The food came out very quickly and everything we ate was delicious! The gyozas were small but tasty. The restaurant is very clean with a decent size seating area. There was a parking lot which always makes it easier. I am pretty sure the ticket machine you ordered at did take cash and card. We will definitely return when we are in the Nago area again!

Randomly picked this restraunt for dinner (because it was on the way back to the hotel), and it was surprisingly good!

There were so many customization options on how we'd like our ramen as well. I went with the thin noodles, extra chewy, spicy with the regular broth. Loved it.

Very traditional Japanese place that serves mainly ramen. Cash only. Take the ticket through a vending machine. Make sure you insert the money first, then press the buttons . Staff super friendly & always willing to help & give the best experience

This ramen was delicious! Waiting in the line was annoying but it was so worthed at the end. You need to first pay with machine and then you sit down, decide noodle thickness and stuff. Mine was Classic Rekka ramen. I did everything regular and thin noodle, spicy level 3. It was spicy enough for me. Also just letting you know that thin noodles are really thin.

I ordered the spicy ramen with extra noodles, gyoza, and a large beer for just over 1,000 yen. The broth was very flavorful and smooth. The egg and noodles perfectly done. You can customize everything about your order so the options are endless. Highly recommend

I absolutely love this place and always make my husband bring me here for ramen. It’s a small place but great food. Most of the time it’s a busy line out the door but it’s worth the wait. Staff is friendly and quick with their service.

Didn’t have to wait long for a table but it’s always packed. The ramen is delicious!

Highly recommended if you are in Okinawa!!Delicious ramen! Try their gyoza, it’s one of the best gyozas I had. Crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The kids wolfed down the whole kids bowl of ramen.

If you’re planning lunch otw to the Aquarium or staying around the area, then this Tonkotsu ramen is definitely a must have! The staff were young but very professional. Best ramen in Nago!

Great tasting ramen shop with friendly staff, even to foreigners.

Ticket machine ordering which is super easy and helped with the addition of an English menu. Their speciality is the spicy ramen, which you can choose your level of spice.

The staff are friendly and one girl even helped us when I accidentally ordered the wrong ramen (wanted spicy!!! And I messed up) and changed it for us.

Really good ramen!

One of the better ones around. There are soup and noodle selection and the orionbeer to top it off was just simply great! Food prices are really affordable too!

The sesame ramen with green onions is quite special flavor for reman lover. The taste is good of course. The staffs are nice. It’s also a kid friendly restaurant. Highly recommended ramen restaurant at Nago city.

Full of tourists during lunch time. Menu in multiple languages. And very delicious ramen and side dishes of course.
