Atami Trick Art Museum

This was one of the most bizarre experiences I had here in Japan. This was a museum based on optical illusions and was full of fun photo opportunities. We were also fortunate enough to see some cherry blossoms by the entrance. There was a beautiful outlook over the ocean. If you’re in the Atami area, this spot if definitely worth checking out if you like illusions and unique places.

Great fun way to spend an hour with the kids. Very interactive. There are welcoming staff who show you how to interact with the displays.

We got stuck in Atami because of a typhoon so we looked up things to do in this town and the trick art museum was perfect! it was funny and right off the rip puzzles your mind with the illusions. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Boyfriend and I had blast in this trick art museum. It’s small and convenient to go with the bus. It is right next to Atami castle so, if your around the area worth checking it out! Lots of fun art and photo spots.

This place was the bomb! I had so much fun here and the art is truly tricky 😂

It was such a fun experience! You can go solo and the staff will help you take photos. I definitely recommend going and you'll have no problems communicating or understanding what to do. There's a lot of opportunities to take interactive photos with the artwork. I'm only sharing this one image as I don't want to ruin the experience, but you should 100% go. I'd pick this over the castle if you could only do one.

My kids have great time in this museum. Recommend.

This was a cool little trick art museum. It’s located right next to the castle so you can do both in one day. At the beginning the staff will explain a little bit, take a couple pictures with you at a few exhibits then you’re on your own. They have a variety of pictures and things on display. Unfortunately they don’t show you best angles to take pictures but it’s fun to try anyway. Check both out if you’re in the area.

But a place to visit if you are in Atami .
There is a Yo yo bus available from the station which cost around 700 yen in which you can take unlimited ride and roam around Atami.

My first time to a trick museum. It was fun. Spent about an hour there. Get the combo pass with entry to Atami Castle.

おなじみ、トリックアートです。上手な、面白い写真を撮る練習場です(笑)。当然満足できない写真は撮り直すので、混雑しない平日がおすすめです。親子で行くとかなり楽しめます。

とても楽しかったです。自然にノリノリでポーズがとれて楽しい写真が撮れました。スタッフの方々もとても親切でした。また遊びに行きたいです。

熱海観光の中でも名称です
大人も子供も楽しめます。
今回行って感じたのは
日本の方が多かった為か、
人が多くてもマナーがとても守られていた感じがします
順番もしっかり守りますし
賑やかではありますが
暗黙のルールが無意識に守られてた感じがします
動物を探すエリアも誰かが答えを言っては面白みも半減しますが
コソコソ話したり
答えを見ても周りにわからないように配慮してました
とても素敵な場所出スタッフの方もとても気持ち良い方々でしたので、また是非行きたい場所です

小人数に分けて案内する為、待ちが長かったです。まぁ日曜日にしては早い方なのかも。他の方の口コミで大人も楽しめるとあった通り、すごく楽しめました。お土産話し用に沢山写真を撮りました。入場料¥1,100-熱海城も同額ですが、両方だと¥1,800でした。

初めて訪れましたが、とても楽しかったです。
高台にある熱海城の隣りにあり、館に入る前や入った後に景色を楽しむこともできます。
私は平日に行ったので、全く待たずに入れました。
有名なアートなどを錯覚を利用して立体的に見えるようになっていて、そこに自分も加わって写真や動画に収めることができます。
アートの構図に合わせて、表情をつけたり、動作をつけたりしながら楽しんで撮影できました。
数点は、3人はいたほうが撮影出来るものがありましたが、二人でも充分です。
見るだけのところではないので、一人で行っても楽しめないかなと思います。
