Yamazato Inn

This is a memorably great experience that I highly recommend. We stayed for two nights, the bedroom is really nice and large, the japanese beds very comfortable, there are plenty nice attentions for guests in the room, private bathroom, and private toilets. And the breakfast is amazing ! And our hosts were so nice, too bad we don't speak japanese. I wish to come back here !

A family run traditional ryokan with tatami mat rooms and onsen bath. The owners are so friendly and the service was amazing. Grandma waved is off as we left. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice place, extremely friendly hosts. Centrally placed. And an elaborate breakfast. Highly recommended!

田舎らしいフレンドリーな接客が印象に残りました。夕食は高千穂牛のハンバーグ、神楽宿で提供される煮しめ、ニジマスの塩焼きなど高千穂の特産品が並びました。朝食は女将さん特製の味噌汁が絶品です。
改善点としては、宿提供の写真がヒノキ風呂なのですが、改装に伴い現在はユニットバスになっているので、正確な情報提供を要望します。他は満足な宿でした。

いい宿でした。
何が良いってご飯が美味しい。夜は近くの居酒屋へ行きたかったので朝のみでしたが地のものが多くどれも新鮮でした。
これなら夜もここで食べてみたかった。
またお伺いします。

母と妹3人で、祖母の里高千穂へ行きました。宿のコロナ対策も万全で過ごしやすく、とても親切なオーナー夫婦と娘さんに癒されます。

友人と宿泊しました。ホスピタリティに溢れていて、とても満足しました。ウェルカムドリンク、晩ご飯、夜神楽、朝食、お部屋など、全て良い経験でした。

旅館のご年配のご夫婦が、大変良い人たちで、最高！
朝食も大変美味しかったです。

とても優しく・居心地のよい場所でした。またいつか泊まりたい旅宿です。

ほとんど段差がなく部屋も綺麗で、とても過ごし易かったです。

Terrific home cooked brekkie and easily the best miso soup I've had, all made by the innkeepers wife.

Room was sparse in Japanese fashion but expected.

Location is somewhat central but most places are within walking distance here.

Excellent food and service, very friendly and warm place. Clean rooms.
