Dordoi Bazaar

Am amazing place! When you arrive from the outside it looks like nothing but once inside an entrance the corridors are very long and there is a huge variety of clothing and household goods at reasonable prices. The traders are friendly and not aggressive. Well worth a visit .

The biggest bazaar (market) in the mid-asia. There is literally everything there - toys, food, electronics, clothes, shoes, underwear, well, you name it.
But get ready for the local peculiarities. The market itself is the labyrinth of sea containers standing in 2 floors. Thousands of people walking, watching, buying. And the half of this place is closed at 3 p.m.
Also there is an issue to escape after 3 p.m. - all the minibuses are full.
Anyway, it worth visiting

This is an amazing bazaar where you can find absolutely anything you wish for at a more affordable price. Don't forget, you can always haggle a bit to reach the desired price.

Must visit if you head to Bishkek.

Woooow. It is huge. You cannot see everywhere in a day.

Very nice bazaar with a lot of unexpensive products.
It is safe and get a huge selection of items to shop.

Very good place for all your needs. Be careful not to go there alone,you mean ght face some problems if your skin is dark. I don't think all the peoples are toxic though

Take a taxi just to get the experience of visiting a huge market presumably the biggest in Asia. Most shops sell things which are of average or below quality. Things made from cotton can be cheap and actually ok. I still remember a group of women from the Middle East buying quality towels in dozens) for those who have recently established in Bishkek this could be an equivalent of IKEA/ 1-pound shop without sizeable furniture items)
I bought a couple of travel bags and two small backpacks for kids

The best time for visiting is after the morning rush hour before it gets too hot. Although it is a roofed market in summer it could be still very hot inside

You can get everything you need in Dordoi bazaar, it has different sections for local/chinese/European/turkish products. Make sure that you use google maps or 2gis if it's your first time because you can get lost easily.

This place is amazing! You can walk for hours and find new things around every corner! I wish there was a good map of the place because it's not a place for quick shopping, but if you have the heart of an explorer, you'll love it. It's vast and claustrophobic. It's friendly and threatening. It's on my Top-5 list of places visitors to Bishkek should see!

Best market to shop all things at one place. It's too large and closes early in evening so have to go earlier. Quite good place to visit for shopping. Prices are also good.

I visited here 3 times, it is very very big in area where different kinds of stuf you can buy from differnt streets, there is a seperate market for suits, for shoes, for treditional dresses , etc.....if you travell whole bazar it means you complete marathone because its very big in area , i loved this place

You can find local product and food here. When I go there first time, it was crowded.
If you want to know about Kyrgyz culture and what are their food, street food and dessert you should visit.

Awesome place. There you can find Too many different, interesting and most beautiful things. You can even find handmade things. Such a good place.
