Ceyloni City Hotel

Needed a hotel for an overnight stay in Kandy and this hotel was perfect. Situated in a quiet area with good connectivity and shops and restaurants nearby. Good service by the staff and they also served local sweets for breakfast due to New Years celebrations

Excellent value for money. Stayed one night before getting the train to Ella. Staff had received our train tickets by mail and they were waiting for us on arrival.
Extremely clean room with modern bathroom and good quality sheets and towels.

I had a fantastic stay at Ceyloni City Hotel. The prices were reasonable, and the rooms were impeccably clean. The staff, particularly Niroshan and Ruwan, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch to my experience.One of the highlights of the hotel's location is its proximity to various amenities. With restaurants, salons, clothing shops, and supermarkets nearby, everything I needed was within walking distance. And Sri Dalada Maligawa is conveniently within walking distance.I opted for the Bed and Breakfast package, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of the breakfast offerings. It provided a perfect start to my day of exploration and relaxation.
Overall, my stay at Ceyloni City Hotel was delightful, thanks to its reasonable prices, clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient location. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is a lovely hotel and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Loved my stay here. Great location. Easy walking distance to the Temple of the Golden Tooth. Spotless room with tv,fridge and coffee making facilities. Lots of shops and eateries in the surrounding areas.

This is a proper hotel, we had a large nice and clean room just as we'd expect back in England. With a proper working shower. The only downside was it can be noisy, as they obviously don't need double glazing so the widows let in the City noise. Trucks and cars starting up and driving by and people talking and shouting in the street. None of this really bothered us as we were so tired after walking miles to see the sights. The hotel is well placed for the Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is a 15 to 20 minute walk. There are lots of restaurants in easy reach too. Nice to get a refreshing glass of juice on arrival

Cleanest bathroom I have experienced in Sri Lanka for the price range. They have sophisticated German bathroom wares and the vinyl optic makes everything look very high quality and prestine. The layout of room is very functional and efficient as well.

Nice place with a wonderful view of Kandy. Comfortable rooms available. Near the Kandy View Point and a few minutes walk away from the city and the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained just as shown in the pictures. Very friendly staff!
No big view of the city and the hotel is just a building in a busy street but that’s convenient if you are traveling to kandy by bus/train as it’s situated within walking distance from the city and everything around kandy.

Great stay in a perfect location. The Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms were perfect and clean. Some of the most comfortable beds and pillows during our entire time in Sri Lanka. I would definitely come back and stay again. Highly recommended.

The hotel owner recommended us to eat at the restaurant in front of the hotel, which was fantastic! After dinner it was raining so hard.. The host saw us, came to the restaurant with an umbrella and made sure we we're doing great.

Convenient location and easily accessible to all the main attractions situated near Kandy town. Very clean and spacious rooms with all the basic faclities. The continuous support and the friendliness of the staff is also commendable. Breakfast spread was good and delicious too. Good service for an affordable cost. Only issue was the weak WiFi connection. Other than that everything was top notch. Highly recommended!

It's very nearby tooth temple of Buddha.
Booked 3 member bedroom on Dec 3rd-4th which was excellent spacious and beds were neat.
Bathroom was very clean, as we were from India the manager arranged some touch of Indian cuisine for our complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was extraordinary delicious,they served string hoppers fish curry and Excellent fruit along with yogurt.
The service was very good from the hotel team, nothing negative. But the property doesn't have a private car parking space,the vehicle has to be parked in front of hotel on the roadside where they charge fee for parking from municipal.
