This is situated opposite the Dalada Maligawa. It's only a few feet away.
While you are in the sacred city of Kandy, this is the best place if you want to go vegetarian.

It often gets crowded during the evenings due to its popularity. Prices of food items are reasonable and portion sizes are also sufficient.
They have milkshakes which I cannot recommend. And the masala chai we tried hardly tasted of any masala.

However, the food was served fast and the staff also was friendly.

They even have a reasonable collection of different flavours of ice cream too.

Overall the experience was good and we would definitely visit this place for a meal everytime we visit Kandy.

We visited the restaurant yesterday and were delighted with the excellent service. Although our initial cheese dosas were cold, the staff promptly replaced them with hot ones when we requested for new plates. We also appreciated the warm smiles from the servers, especially the sweet lady who served our water. I accidentally left my water bottle behind but was able to retrieve it after calling today.

Went here for dinner a few days ago and today for lunch. People are very very friendly and the food is delicious! We did not know what to expect because we’ve never heard of ‘Dosai’ before, but it was delicious. Both times we had Dosai masala and would recommend this very much! Masala dosai, shake and lassi were both very good!

It's a really good vegetarian Indian restaurant and has a clean and hygienic environment and even the staff and owner are also friendly and welcoming. When you go to Kandy tooth relic temple, it's just 200 mts away.

One best place to have authentic Indian vegetarian food. Very busy in the evening and night.
I had the mushroom and cheese masala, which was absolutely divine., guess they had used mozzarella cheese 🧀 😋. And the mango Lassi 🥭 was amazing as well.
The string hoppers and the lime wasn't that good but decent. Overall, it was a friendly service and decent prices, and would definitely visit again when in Kandy.

Place might get packed on weekends but got enough space to for at least 100 people. The food is good and they got their own stuff such as mini idly. Place is very clean and nice and The service team is very good. No dedicated parking but you can park in the road based on the availability. If you are a local you may not gonna get balcony seats since they kinda make they available for foreigners.

Great food! Not a vegan fan but this was tasty. I made a mistake and ordered the Cheese Onion Masala Dosa, should have ordered the Cheese Onion (no Masala as I'm not a Masala fan).

They also gave me a fork and knife as I obviously didn't know what I'm doing. Highly recommended place to try.

Nice location with street view and I had the tastiest idly and aloo bonda.

Compared to last year food quality is really low. Since they have high demand they don’t bother about the quality anymore. Ulundu wada isn’t good anymore.

A vegetarian spot with delicious dosas! The portion sizes are huge so bear that in mind when ordering. The place is clean and with friendly staff. Great spot to fuel up or recharge while visiting the Temple of the Sacred tooth.

A busy place in the morning. The food is good and their dosa are large in size. Inside is very clean and nice. The service is very good, they even ask if we need more curries. No parking in front of the restaurant, have to park somewhere else.

Place is clean and modern looking. A vegetarian only restaurant very close to the Temple of the tooth. Hence parking can be tricky. Liked their ghee dosai and the sweets. Masala Chai didn’t taste authentic though.

Delicious menu, favourite was the Kara Dosa & Mango Lassi. Masala Chai also 🤌. Have been in Kandy for 3 days and we’ve eaten here everyday for either lunch or dinner. Quick service, relaxed atmosphere and friendly servers. If you’re visiting Kandy, go here
