I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, especially at the buffet. The food was delicious, with a great variety, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. One of the staff members, Isurika, was particularly attentive and made our dining experience even better with her friendly and professional service. Overall, I highly recommend this place for both the food and the excellent customer service.

I had a great stay at the Marino Beach Hotel! The room was luxurious and comfortable with an ocean view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious with a lot of variety, and the roof top pool was fantastic for relaxing. It was an unforgettable experience for me and my kids. Trade Finance Association of Bankers (TFAB) recently held a seminar for bankers and corporates engaged Trade Finance (import & export) at Marino and we must say, the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The event was seamlessly organized, thanks to the hotel's attentive and professional staff. The conference room was spacious, well-lit, and equipped with all the necessary audio-visual facilities, ensuring that every presentation went smoothly.

I had a great experience at Tides restaurant buffet! The place is stunning, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. The service was top-notch, and the staff were very attentive. You can also purchase mocktails and cocktails on top of the buffet. The ambiance was perfect, and everything was well-organized and fresh. Highly recommend for a satisfying buffet meal!

Very beautiful hotel and lovely views of the sea. The swimming pool is on the roof and the spa is wonderful. We had some issues with the first room and the manager Supan was very helpful in moving us and giving us a better room.

Our favorite hotel to stay at in Colombo. From the front staff that greet you to the staff that clean your rooms amazing service throughout. If you do stay, definitely visit the rooftop infinity pool resort like feel.

We went for lunch buffet on 18th august 2024 with my best friends who came from UK 🇬🇧. The price was Rs 3950 per person. It’s really adorable.. also we ordered fresh juices. Foods was tasty 😋 . Friendly staff.. Overall Amazing..

Absolutely beautiful hotel, rooms are large and luxurious with stunning ocean views. Food & drinks fairly priced & breakfast selection is great. The hotel staff are super friendly & its the ideal location for exploring the city - about €1 tuk tuk ride away. The adjoining mall is handy for greay coffee & food. And finally, the rooftop infinity pool is to die for!!

The most amazing experience. Everyone is really nice at the hotel. Amenities are amazing!!! Could literally stay here forever. Beautiful infinity pool, jacuzzis, and garden. Forgot a swimsuit they have some you can buy which were nice. You can enjoy the attached mall. Spa there was amazing!! Great food and fruits especially downstairs in the restaurant, which has an amazing view. Overall a great experience!!! Highly recommend!!!

Very classy hotel scenic views. Amazing service. Things I liked the most.
1. Sea view rooms. Has amazing view of the train tracks and Ocean horizon.
2. One building that has everything and economical compared to other places. Has shopping mall, several restaurants, roof top pool,
3. Has live music in the reception lobby which is really classy. Loved it.
4. Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Really appreciate the efforts put there.
5. Breakfast menu is very exhaustive list. We could not even cover 30% of it 🤣
6. Provides complimentary tour for colombo from 2.30 pm in noon to evening.
7. Provides beach access from morning 6 to evening with complimentary ride.

Breakfast was great, had lots to choose from. Room was spacious and clean! The swimming pool was breathtaking. Stayed 3 nights with family and we all really enjoyed it

LOVE IT!
Staying four nights at the hotel and so far, it has been a great stay. Rooms are comfortable, spacious with a partial sea view. Lots of amenities that one would expect in a good 5* hotel. Clean rooms which are new. Lots of various teabags in the room which we enjoyed trying out.
Ate at the Sunset bar. Service was attentive. Food was decent and priced were fair but not cheap. I find that restaurants in Sri Lanka are rather expensive for a country with relatively low wages.
The top floor is a work of art. Well designed for a small long area on the top floor. The infinity pool is beautiful, the green area is heavenly due to the strong breeze. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset.
We enjoyed the complimentary city tour although the guides in the bus could have done more by showing us the highlights in the museum and temple.
We also spent a few hours at the beach lounge. Free hourly shuttle bus to the beach which is ten minutes away. The place is compact but nicely done up. The food is very pricey at the lounge and the waiter didn’t smile at all, unlike the friendly staff at the main hotel.
All in all, good value for money.
What I am truly perplexed is the train tracks that run along the beach, spoiling the view. It totally doesn’t make sense in my opinion.

An amazing hotel. Unfortunately, we only stayed for 2 nights but we really enjoyed the spacious room with the balcony overlooking the Indian Ocean, the rich breakfast buffet with hundreds of food options and of course the breathtaking terrace with the pool, the garden!!!!(trees on the 10th floor) and the restaurants. For the 10th floor pool alone, i would definitely visit again when in Colombo!

Breakfast buffet should improve with selection and the quality. I would recommend more hospitality training for the staff.

A very warm welcome by the friendly staff,easy check in,Room was clean,first class bathroom/shower. The bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of room, too.

The food here is exscuite,the breakfast choices was wide ranging and all the breakfasts i had were well cooked too.

The swimming pool on the roof is so relaxing and comfortable,the small pools are heated and again a joy to be in.The jacuzzi was very good as well.

The gym/fitness room was one of the best equipped gyms for all-around fitness/conditioning I've experienced in a hotel.

The drinks were reasonably priced, esp happy hour where you get a real bargain, at the bar on top.

The mall was mainly based on coffee/dining outlets, so nothing really stood out there.

The only gripe is its a long way to the airport to arrive here and then back,I guess 45 mins or so for this hotel isn't that bad after all.

I highly recommend this hotel,it has everything.A first class stay and def I'll return again .

I just finished a 10 day stay at Marino beach.
The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

They helped with getting around and organising stuff around Colombo.

Being my first time there I really appreciated it.

The room was beautiful and the house keeping kept it beautiful.
Very attentive. The food was good at all the locations and the Mall was convenient also.

Really best hotel experience I've had in a long while and I travel fairly regularly.

The only negative was the drivers situated just outside the hotel.
Price gouging and trying to take advantage during travel.

By no means is this an issue with the hotel itself but if the staff could advise against the using the service for first time visitors I think it would be really helpful for some people like myself new to Sri Lanka.

Thank you Marino hotel for the amazing stay would highly recommend to other people vacationing and travelling.
