Vishnu Vihar Vegetarian Hotel- Kandy

We stayed at Kandy for two days and had meal in Vishnu vihar veg hotel total six times . Food is awesome , taste is very good . Service is great and very cordial people .my 06 years old daughter loved this place , mixed with people of hotel and they took great care of her . Will always recommend this place for any day any meal . Love this place .

One of the best Food I had in Kandy! Completely Vegetarian Food. It’s a small space, but still very friendly and nice. The Food is Sri Lankan and Indian. I had a really good Dosa and a Masalla Chai there. I was really happy to find this Place.

Good traditional Sri Lankan pure vegetarian food. Some dishes have quite a lot of chilli as you would expect in Sri Lanka but curd is available to cool the flames. Attentive staff and reasonably priced. Veg thali is huge and very good value.

There are few vegetarian restaurants in Kandy. This one is a small place but very clean andhygenic it looks. The staff are very couteous and caring especially to indian tamilians. They have a good variety and tasty south indian food available. Also vegetarian dishes of lankan cuisine. One of us ate there and we packed for rest, packing too was good and i fully recommend this place for good pure veg food.

Those who want to enjoy authentic Srilankan Pure Vegetarian food and South Indian Food, Vishnu Vihar is a must visit when in Kandy.

I have been eating this restaurant almost all meal in a day here at every trip. One can find authentic South Indian food here. Starting from Idli, sambar, chutney, dosa, vada, puri. This hotel has wide spread of food and authentic taste. Sort bites also available almost all their hours. Located on busy old Paradeniya road walkable distance from the main city market and Kandy bus station and railway station. Very small but neatly maintained vegetarian hotel.

We had masala dosa and paper dosa and they tasted delicious. I am from Kerala and have high dosa standards and they were definitely met!

Best vegan masala dosa I've had in Kandy. And I can say I've tried many!

Really amazing veggie/vegan options. We had those filled triangles, the idli set and paratha which was all delicious. The passion fruit juice was exactly what we needed to cool us down, great recommendation. The people working there were all super friendly! Would highly recommend

Checked out this place last night and it was delicious!! Hosts were really nice and helped us with some recommendations on the best local food. Good portions, really cheap and super yummy. For sure nicer than the busier places in town and worth the trip. Loads of vegan options too

Food was very delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming. If you want crispy warm cheesy dosas and delicious vegetarian currys dips, in an authentic setting that is definitely the place to go. we haven’t tried but there are also rice, curd and so on.
