A very nice destination to get good handpicked tea with different qualities & types of teas.
They will show you the steps they are following to produce the different types of tea.
They have a very nice show area upstairs where you can buy your favorite type of tea with reasonable prices. Their products are packed in a nice way so you can use it as a souvenir. All the staff were very welcoming & friendly.
It’s recommended for anyone visiting Kandy.

This place too is a government operated factory which grows different types of tea. Only after visiting this factory did I know that there were so many exotic varieties of tea available. Everything is 100% natural with no artificial conditioning added. The tea that they gave as sample was the best I had ever tasted. The cost is very high but if you are a tea lover, then the cost should not deter you from taking a pack with you home.

One of best tea factory on the way from Kandy to Nuwaraeliya, just after Gampola city you will find it in left side. They will offer different kind of tea for taste and it will be good place to enjoy a Ceylone tea.

A daily routine of processing tea leaves to make black tea. It tastes excellent and is refreshing

Amazing visit and tour around the tea factory. Nimesha gave us a very informative walk through the tea processing plant and then we took a tea tasting session. The entry is free of charge and we bought Sri Lanka's special white and golden tea. Very lovely spot to visit when in Kandy. More reviews @myra.recommends

Nice place to learn about all of the different types of tea. This factory produces tea from white tea to black tea. At the end of the tour they give you a chance to taste them all. Naturally they want you to purchase something. Make sure that you haggle with them!
