Hatale Mini World's End

I think it is better if you can give the location as Madulkele junction rather giving Hatale mini world's end. Can not trust google map when you give direction to this place as it gives you a round tour before you reach the place. Wasted more than 1 hour to get out from Kandy city. However couldn't find a proper path to reach the destination. Asked from many villagers about the place but couldn't get any proper idea and finally I had to follow the google map to reach the place. Luckily I found a boy who was on his way to home after school. He helped me to find the place as he lives close by to the place. It was a really marvellous place to visit. Some had done camping too. I was the only one there as I went on Friday. Spent my time with this marvel of nature and came back home without littering the place. So please do enjoy the place but don't spoil the place. It was really windy. So be careful about that too. If you want to visit the place I think it better if you can ask from the villagers after you reached the Madulkele junction.

Beautiful place surround by tea plants. You got 2 paths to go to the top .. keep an eye for the roads. Very few people on the top and also beware of wild animals.free of charage , good place for camping .

Very nice place to travel. But road is not easy. 4x4 vehicle or bike can go near the top.
There are two path to travel. Map shows two ways for vehicle. By foot there is a short cut road through the pine trees.

A truly fascinating place. Road condition is very bad with narrow roads, but a 4*4 vehicle can reach to the top. Then you have to walk about 200m to reach the end. A really calm place to spend time and enjoy a superb view.

One of the most scenic places around Matale. Hatale Mini world’s end lies at 3000ft high from the sea level. This place can be reached from Panvila. The tea estates on the top and a clean environment add the icing to its prevailing beauty

the view point provides a view to beautiful scenery of knuckes 5 peaks right in the front and towards Gombaniya peaks too on sunny days you will enjoy the beauty of those.

As its not a crowded place you will really enjoy some nice time in a camper.

Mode of transport: road is damaged in few areas so using off road vehicle is comfortable and easy as you can go by that vehicle to the view point it self. But using a will have to stop 300m before and walk to the view point.

Very beautiful panoramic view. Good place for trecking, in the middle of the tea estate.

Amazing place. The roads are bad but can reach the top if you are going in a 4x4 or bike. Make sure to take the road up by the balanna bunglow its the shortest way up.

One of hardest way to climb the mountain but superb place

To reach Hathale we took the road near Panvila rest house and after 3Km’s we reached a pines plot where we halted our vehicle and walked towards the WE (refer the map). It was a 4wd ride and you need good ground clearance to tackle this road. We had a 200m walk to the view point where there was an area to sit even. one could enjoy a pnoramic view towards Western peaks of Knuckles such as Gomabiya, Yakkunge hela, Rilagala, Selvakanda, Kandasamy gala, Knuckles, Kota ganga falls etc. After spending some time we took of towards Pitakanda.

As the place itself has mentioned, this is a rare beautiful place to visit in Panwila. The road is difficult to access by a van. There is a tea plantaion and a pinus forest. More than a hike, this is a lesiure walk for about 200m to get to the destination!

Hatale Mini World's End known as "Hatale pathana" situated in Kandy District. It's 3500 feet above sea level. There are 6.5 km from Panwila town to Hatale mini world's end. we can trekking through see the landscaped tea plantation and beautiful views. Can travel by bikes and four wheel vehicles.

Great experience, If you are on foot there are easy way short cuts from Hatale Tea factory.
