The Kithulgala camp

Beautiful and cozy camp on the side of the river. The place is clean, the food is great and there is a perfect spot to swim!

Shanaka (and co) offers all kinds of activities/excursions with professional and fun guidance. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

One of my favourite places in Sri Lanka, staying in a tent by a jungle river is a magical experience. It is nice to chill at the camp but there are also loads of activities nearby! Shanaka knows the best rafting and abseiling spots but also hidden gems like waterfalls, caves and sunset spots and is always happy to take you there. He is also an enthusiastic bird watcher and knows so much about the surrounding nature. This is a lush, green, jungly hidden getaway, rustic but very cosy and comfortable with amazing hospitality and great food — I couldn’t recommend more highly!! (I’ve been back three times and every time has been amazing!)

Experience Nature by sleeping in this Camp 🏕
The owner is super friendly, he made us a bonfire at night. They have electricity and clean bathroom but cold water only. Inside the room we had our tent to protect us from mosquitoes (bring lemongrass oil with you for protection from mosquitoes bites).
No Wifi but the owner gave us personal hotspot but to be honest you don’t need it, just enjoy the moment away from the noise.
The breakfast was really delicious & clean.
I definitely recommend this place 🙌🙌.

Beautiful property in nature along side the river. Loved their furniture made of boats and wood. Very raw. Open bathrooms. They have tents in the rooms and a common washroom.

Such a amerzing place for the person who loves nature and environment ! Food was very traditional and delicious! Cottages have enough space! If they can get methods to prevent mosquitoes , that would be best camping place! ☺

The only place that provides the best service in Kitulgala area. Very kind staff. Their prices are very reasonable. Delicious food. Special thanks to the owner. Thank you for bringing us so many beautiful memories. See you again one day

A place to visit, stay a night and enjoy the nature (bird watching), walking and/or rafting. Service is very good and they are helpfull. I would advice this place.

Woooooow..... Just Wooooow.... Yesterday i went to this place with my friends..That expieriance was briliant.The owner of this place was very kind and very friendly guy..And he treated us as his family members.
