This is a super sweet little place just in front of the botanical garden. The staff is so nice and the rice and curry I had just tasted amazing and authentically spicy. Lots of locals here and prices are very low.

තේ එකක් බොන්න ආවෙ. සුදු අක්ක මුස්ලිම් කොල්ලෙක් එක්ක හුරතල් වෙන විදිහ දැක්කම පට්ටම අවුල්. ඒත් වටේම ප්‍රසිද්ධයි. සුදු අක්ක බඩුවක් කියල. සිංහල කඩේක මේ වගේ සීන් වෙද්දි ගොඩක් දුක හිතුනා සුදු අක්කෙ.😁

Reasonably priced (~100-500 LKR) street side cafe.

We forgot to make lunch plans so found this place which is right across the street from the botanic gardens.

We only ordered ready to go food and it was good (not great). My veg roti wasn't warm however and the shopkeeper wouldn't heat it for me. Also- to note they wouldn't make change- even for a small bill (500).
