Everything just perfect. Amazing cozy place. Delicious food. Big portions. Home made feeling. Friendly staff with big compliment to Tatjana. Prices affordable. Located in an untouched paradise. Highly recommend.

I was there on my very first date 25 years ago. And now I came back and got nostalgic flashbacks! Food was abundant and it felt good to be there.

We had "chicken with champion mashrooms" and "farmer's pork". Both were increadibly tasty.

Also, portions are good size and the staff is friendly and polite. Nothing but good things to say about this place.

Food menu was outstanding!
Everything was nice! The food was served with style!
Also got very big portions!
Reccomend this place for dinner and also great place to take a woman for a date!!💯💯

food was great in terms of taste and portions and the waitress was the best ive seen in latvia, smiling and nice and patient, which is believe me, very very rate in latvia.

Very good choice of dishes.At last good choice of lamb which is very hard to find in Latvia,so very much appreciated.The meal was delicious! Service was on point.I did not get the decor though...but it must has a meaning behind it(?)Still giving 5* and would definitely recommend.

Tasty food and portions are huge. The price is perfect.
I had half of a soup and half of a main meal plus a drink.

Overall it's probably our favourite restaurant in Ogre (as we've been here a fair few times). It's a lovely local restaurant with good quality food. Their cheese covered dishes can be a bit much at times, but maybe that's just me. Other than that it gets a big thumbs up from me.

Excellent place for a family dinner or lunch. Extra large portions so be modest and choose the half portion option. Kids highchairs and restrooms are available. Take the pork chop or solanka soup - best in town. Free parking near the Kulturas nams.

City in Latvia

Ogre is the state city in Ogre Municipality in the Vidzeme region of Latvia, 36 kilometres east of the capital Riga, situated at the confluence of the Daugava and Ogre rivers. It has been a city since 1928. The population in 2020 was 23,273. Ogre is composed of three parts: Jaunogre, Ogre, and Pārogre. The name of the city comes from the Ogre river.
