Nosy Be

Island full of contrasts. From the one side great beaches, clear and warm water, open people, many things to see. From the other people who have very little (but seem to somehow get through), poor infrastructure, hard conditions for local people. Definetly the island is worth to visit.

Ampasimpohy is a seaside village located in Nosy Be. A place far from mass tourists and is still almost wild where you can camp quietly and you are in the middle of the forest where lemurs live peacefully. You have to contact a local guide to go there.

The small island of Nosy Be is one of Madagascar’s premier tourist spots attracting thousands of tourists from across the globe year round. Although Nosy Be’s beaches don’t look as picture perfect as some other tropical beaches, they do win points for tranquility, clear turquoise water and excellent seafood restaurants serving seafood diner on the sand.

My best place for holidays in Madagascar. It is a little island at the northern of Madagascar. A lot of activities are available there scuba diving, snorkeling, whale shark diving, hiking, park visiting etc. There are a lot of little islands that surround Nosy be and each of them has some nice particularities. Nosy Iranja is the island known for its emerald colored and white sanded beach. Nosy Tanihely is the one where you can visit a beautiful park full of lemurs and other endemic animals. You can interact directly with the lemurs, feed them, cuddle them and play with them. Nosy Sakatia is the one where you can diving and swim with the sea turtle, a genuine nature lover experience.

Idyllic beaches and prime snorkeling. Most accommodation is resort based, that is, catering mostly for tourists. Prices are higher than anywhere else in Madagascar. Trabsportation throughout the islans is mainly by boat (to neighbouring islands) oe by taxi. There is some taxi brousse service as well, mainly to the western coast. Nosy Be receives international flights and quickly connects with the main island via ferry boats to Ankify

Pretty beautiful island surrounded by even prettier islands like Nosy Sakatia ,Nosy Iranja ,Nosy Komba etc . A great place for relaxing and chilling .

Generally safe place, people looks poor but in real it's one of the richest region of Madagaskar
