Great experience . We walked around for more than an hour , looking at work from artisans from Mexico and Guatemala . Some make things right there, especially people with Jewelry. You can see them making beautiful pieces right there and also can ask for any adjustments or even get a piece made for a very reasonable price. I got a silver earring made for me right there !

Loved it!! So much better than the crowded tourist areas! The prices are reasonable and you can experience life as a local.

Good variety of souvenirs....although if you're looking for the authentic local handmade stuff then that's becoming rare, it's a mix of machine produced copies of the original and stuff from Guatemala...nevertheless some good buys and the designs are great.

A gigantic market of the Original people around San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Nice local market where you can get jewelry (amber!), clothing, bags, and some touristy stuff (though not too many tourists are there). People there are friendly and mostly leave you alone if you just want to browse. Be prepared to bargain for your purchases; most vendors seem to set their initial price about 10-20% higher than their final offer. Open every day from morning until early evening.

Good prices of all kinds of art crafts. Lots of things to see and many to buy! I got crazy over there shopping for souvenirs. I highly recommend it.

A bag that was priced 310 pesos in the stores, was bought here for 180 pesos. Good prices!

Liked it highly recommended not all the business are open due to the pandemic but you still have a great variaty of handcrafted products
