Mayahuel Restaurante & Grill Teotihuacan

There are many restaurants nearby the Tehuacan archeological site, but you can’t go wrong with this one. Not only the food is fresh and tasty, with fast and attentive service, but it has the great view of the “Pyramid of the Sun”. There are the usual musicians playing for tips, and look at your check carefully, because 10% tip may already be included, although I was happy to leave some extra, because the service was so good.

Went for lunch after visiting the pyramids of Teotihuacan. Actually walked by most of the restuarants near that entrance area and ended up walking back to this one; and, it was the best decision. Delicious food, warm and welcoming staff, well-manicured and pretty outside tables, clean and well-maintained. The waiter recommended dishes and we got them and we loved them! This place was a total winner. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience, hope to return. Without a doubt recommended.

This place is near the parking lot 4 at Teotihuacan and by rights should be a tourist trap. The food was good and the service was fast and friendly. Prices are good and keep some cash free to top the band if they are playing

They have a great selection of meal options and the food we had was stunning!

There is seating inside and outside with parasols provided for outdoor dining.
We also had some music played for us between meals.

We were able to pay by card and the wait staff spoke English so we didn't have any trouble communicating.
Everyone was also very friendly!

The service is amazing. The person that help us was very attentive. He lets us Mexican hats for pictures. He also gave us a special drink made of a cactus plant.
The food was good. I like the azteca soup. The place is big and it opens early. The prices are very reasonable.

Went with family and they were very accomodating for the children in our group. The patio is very nice and it's very easy to stop at before going to the pyramids.

A nice restaurant in the Teotihuacan area with a view of the pyramid. The food was delicious: flavorful and rich with spices, and the prices were fair. We had the vegetarian molcajete (we asked if we could remove the beef from the meat molcajete and they said they couldn’t), the filete de pescado al gusto, and the queso fundido: all really good.
Cafe de olla was perfect to round off the meal while we savored the views.

Nice menu, great food, wonderful staff. There is a kid's playground on the in the restaurant yard. I had a wonderful experience.

Incredible view. Food and service is incredible!!! There are daily shows representing not only different areas of Mexico but also times.

VERY GOOD Food! And clean! The local musicians make the place feel even more authentic. (Plenty of parking right on the street along the road)

Very nice restaurant, even when it is outside the park it has an excellent view of the pyramid of the sun. The Mexican food is so tasty and the prices are affordable, while you are eating you can enjoy prehispanic dancings and live Mexican music. You can spend a good time here.

Wow , very beautiful restaurant, attentive staff and great food. Mariachi was the cherry on top.
