Tortas DF

An amazing local place with phenomenal food. They keep it simple and delicious. Get a Torta (I got the #6), your choice of bottled drink and you get the lightly pickled condiments.

The bread is made local from a Mexican bakery and it pairs with the saltiness from the meat. The avocado and cheese cuts the salt and gives pairs amazingly. Mix it with the heat and light vinegary taste of the carrots, onions and jalapeño (with a little bit of crunch) and you have the perfect sandwich.

Have had them before and will have them again.

We walked in on a whim and the food was fantastic. Plenty of seating and the bread is absolutely stellar!! sorry about the picture.

This place is definitely delicious worth going if you in San Luis. They have the best tortas that I know of. Very delicious, I highly recommend Tortas DF. They been in business for so many years. Price very reasonable that I can eat three of them.

So Tortas DF is like a historic landmark when it comes to tortas. That place has been open for as long as I can remember. They are really good tortas at an affordable price. I believe it's like $2.50 per torta. Depending on what kind you want. I highly recommend trying them atleast once an then you can be the judge of how good they are.

The food was so very very good. Couldn't decide what to eat, so she fixed us a plate of a little bit of everything. The beef was so tender! Can hardly wait to go back

The tortas are fabulous and unique outstanding flavors, it's a must go to the people in the area very respectful but the city is not for the weak, manners are a must.

One of the best Tortas in the world 😁🙌 my favorite is the especial. You are allowed to cross them back across the border.

Delicious tortas! I ate here at a recommendation of a friend. This place has been open since 1968. Had the suprema torta and added some of the pickled carrots and such they have at the table, very good. Theres also jalapenos at the table too. I do reccommend knowing some spanish as they do not speak english here.

Delicious and mouth watering tortas! Been giving there since I was a kid. They have various kinds but their most popular is the Torta Especial which comes with pulled pork, ham, cheese, tomato avocado, mayo and chili's with carrots.

We went there to eat lunch and you can never go wrong. Tortas DF is a landmark for San Luis Rio Colorado the best Tortas in town....

The bomb dot com. These tortas are inexpensive and exploding with flavor. La Especial and La Cubana are worth getting in line for.

The tortas here are ridiculously good. They are by far the best in San Luis Mexico, no argument. The taste is great and they are so quick to bring them to the table. The pickled carrots are my favorite and they have a distinct flavor from anywhere else. Just talking about the tortas is making me hungry.

Place is amazing has been serving same great tortas for years. Can't go wrong work any of them. Although I haven't had the quesadillas or tostadas, they seemed like a popular choice. Definitely will try next time great place for a fast bite and cheap!

Love! Love! Excellent food at super inexpensive prices. Excellent tortas made fresh and lots of variety. Get them to go or eat there. Always have to stop here on the way through San Luis. No English, but you can point and sound it out so don't let that stop You!

The tortas are amazing, always arrive quickly even when the place is busy, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. No avocados were spared in the making of these sandwiches! Find any excuse that you can to come here. :)

Almost 30 years The last time we eat there, still very good Tortas!

Been getting tortas here since I can remember,.. the bread is fantastic, always has a great portion of everything inside and they are super quick, as soon as you order it, I love it, I hope this restaurant exceeds my lifetime and keeps everything the same forever, thank you

Great torta especial and torta Cubano! Right off Calle 6, your passenger can jump out, get some lunch and be back in the car before you get very far down the line. We go here every time we head to Mexico.
