San Patricio Melaque Jalisco

Such a beautiful beach!!! Make sure if your planing your vacations and don’t want to be around a lot of people go during the week. It’s less crowded.

4th visit. Lovely little town. Comprised of 3 villages. West Melaque, San Patricio and Obrego.

Not a tourist trap (YET)

The greatest and calm town I ever visit, and so nice that I will come back again, and everything is a great pricing and this town is for people that want to enjoy and not go get wasted I saw no bars.

The beach is lovely but there are parts where you shouldn't go due to stronger waves... Be careful because there is no lifeguard and you enter at your own risk. However, that being said, nothing beats the beauty of this awesome place and its fresh, salty water to beat the heat.

Excellent place to relax and good eats

First I visited Barra de Navidad. A fine Malecon, but the beach was at a 45 degree angle, so the waves were forceful up and down the slope. Then I visited nearby Malenque, with strong reservations, as Lonely Planet described it as being "busy". I found Malenque to my liking, as do many elder Canadians, who stay at residential hotels at-near the beach, at around $4500 Pesos in the high season, and $3500 Pesos in the slow season, beginning in April. Imove to Melanque in early April, to a 2 Bedroom apartment in an Hospedaje a block from the beach, and a swimming pool right outside my door...for $2500 Pesos a month. I am going to develop a free English'Spanish Club for the community, as well as free Tai Chi--Pushing Hands training. Melanque is mellow.

I was at las fiestas de Melaque it was so much fun to see fireworks, el castillo and toritos.

Love this small fishing village. Nice beach, good food. Fun place.

Great little town, friendly, big enough yo get what you need for groceries but nothing big, so no Wal-Mart, McDonald's, etc.

Hermosa playa con un excelente clima. Beautiful beach with great weather and delicious food.

Such an amazing place to bring your kids for something like a vacation lots of amazing people as well and beautiful beaches.

Great little paradise..a great place to relax and have fun..my wife and I really enjoyed.
