Artesanías El Quetzal

Nice place where there you can find a huge collection of souvenirs, cultural dresses and wear, a guide to tell you about their heritage and other stuffs. There is stone art of the ancient Mexican type artisity. Different type of Mexlzcals to try and what not. It is a wonderful place overall, though it is a bit far from the mexico city center. But it is amazing.

This stop was included in our tour of the pyramids. Our experience was fantastic. We were guided by Adriana who asked if we wanted the your in English or Spanish. The process of crafting and cultivating the agave plant was really fascinating. My 4 year old and 1.5 year old really enjoyed taking a peak at the heart of the plant. The obsidian explanation was really cool. The tequila tasting was great and our guide was extra encouraging for any in store purchase. We would return again.

Beautiful handwork you can buy here. Prices are reasonable. They do a small tour outside in the gardens.
